Workday Business Systems Analyst

This role offers an exciting opportunity for an experienced Workday Business Systems Analyst to drive reporting, analytics, and data management initiatives in a fully remote environment. You will partner with business and IT teams to develop and optimize Workday reports, dashboards, and analytics while implementing effective data archiving and purging strategies. This position ensures data integrity, compliance, and system efficiency across the organization. Ideal candidates are self-motivated problem-solvers with deep Workday expertise and a strong ability to translate complex business needs into actionable reporting and data lifecycle solutions.

Accountabilities

• Build, maintain, and optimize advanced Workday reports, dashboards, and analytics.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate requirements into reporting solutions.
• Ensure accuracy, integrity, and performance across all Workday data outputs.
• Define and implement data archiving and purge processes in line with compliance and retention policies.
• Conduct audits to validate archived and purged data and resolve related system issues.
• Partner with IT and compliance teams to execute data lifecycle strategies effectively.
• Provide guidance, training, and support on Workday reporting and data management best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 5+ years of Workday experience, including reporting and data lifecycle management.
• Advanced expertise in Workday reporting tools (advanced, matrix, and composite reports).
• Familiarity with Workday data structures, security protocols, and compliance standards.
• Demonstrated experience with data archiving, purging, and retention best practices.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Workday certifications in Reporting or Data Management preferred.
• Preferred experience in aerospace or defense industries, understanding of data privacy regulations, and project management capabilities.
