We focus on Asian and Eastern European languages, offering a unique blend of language and cultural learning experiences. With our mobile and web apps, we help thousands of users worldwide explore new languages and cultures, supported by a strong in-app purchase model. As we continue to grow, we’re looking for a mid-level Product Manager to join our agile, cross-functional team.

Why Join Us?
  • Work in a mission-driven, agile company passionate about breaking down language barriers.
  • Contribute to a rapidly growing company with a unique niche in the market: teaching hard-to-learn Asian and Eastern European languages.
  • Be part of a collaborative, open, and supportive team that values curiosity, entrepreneurship, and continuous learning.
  • Enjoy opportunities for personal and professional growth in a dynamic environment.
Mission Statement
As the Website Administrator & Developer, you will take full ownership of the company's website, ensuring optimal performance, security, and seamless user experience. Your role is integral in maintaining, troubleshooting, and enhancing the website, serving as the go-to person for all web-related technical matters. You will ensure smooth operations while reducing dependency on external developers, resolving issues independently, and supporting business goals through proactive management and communication.
Expectations and Outcomes

Website Performance
  • Maintain an uptime of 99.9%, ensure site load times remain under 2 seconds, and proactively address vulnerabilities to ensure zero critical security breaches annually.
Issue Resolution

Troubleshooting & Development

  • Independently resolve technical issues, including plugin conflicts, server errors, or design inconsistencies.
  • Implement minor development changes (e.g., coding fixes, PHP, HTML/CSS updates).
  • Develop and implement website changes, using PHP, HTML, CSS, or JavaScript as needed.
  • Delegate larger tasks to the freelance developer with comprehensive briefs and follow-ups.

Cross-Team Collaboration

  • Collaborate with SEO and content marketing teams to align website updates with broader strategies.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for internal stakeholders on web-related queries and progress updates.

Project Management

  • Lead website improvement projects from start to finish, ensuring milestones and deadlines are met.
  • Prioritize tasks based on business impact and urgency.

Monitoring & Reporting

  • Use tools such as Google Analytics, Search Console, and uptime monitoring software to track and report website health.
  • Provide weekly status updates to stakeholders on website priorities and progress.

Quality Assurance & Documentation

  • Maintain detailed documentation of website processes, fixes, and SOPs.
