Web Developer

We’re seeking a Web Developer to drive 20% year-over-year growth in ARR through our direct sales channel. You'll create high-converting web content, collaborating with marketing, sales, and engineering teams to optimize the web experience and enhance lead generation. You’ll also play a key role in implementing AI-driven content generation and supporting AI initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Web Content Development: Create new web pages, implement CTAs, and improve internal linking across pages to optimize for conversions.
• Collaboration: Work with marketing, sales, UX/UI designers, engineers, on AI-driven content strategies.
• Web Optimization & SEO: Optimize content for UX, SEO, and conversion, following best practices.
• Technical Maintenance: Regularly update and troubleshoot web pages, manage server-side issues like speed and redirects.
• Backlog Management: Resolve Google Search Console errors, broken links, and publish delayed pages.
• Analytics: Use web analytics tools to track performance, optimize conversions, and improve user engagement.
• AI Implementation: Collaborate on AI tools and processes to speed up content generation and publishing.

Required Qualifications:

• Experience: 6+ years in web development, with a portfolio of conversion-driven projects.
• Technical Skills: Proficient in HTML, PHP (CakePHP a plus), WordPress, JavaScript, CSS, and frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js. Experience with CMS like WordPress and HubSpot.
• Collaboration: Strong communication skills and ability to work across teams and explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Web Optimization: Experience troubleshooting and optimizing web performance, including server-side issues and technical debt management.
• Knowledge: Solid understanding of UX/UI, SEO best practices, and web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, SEMrush).
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Web Development, Computer Science, Design, or related field. Relevant certifications are a plus.

Compensation: 

Harbor Compliance’s base salary range for this role is listed below. Compensation at the time of offer is based on factors such as skill set, experience, qualifications, and work location. Salary is one part of Harbor Compliance’s total compensation package. Other benefits may include health benefits, flexible paid time off, parental leave, fertility and adoption assistance, 401(k), and educational reimbursement. Note that the salary range and benefits apply only to U.S.-based candidates.

Harbor Compliance base salary range for this role in the U.S. is:

(Salary range $90,000 - $110,000 USD). Additionally, this role might be eligible for discretionary bonuses or commission payments.
