We connect patients with hassle-free sexual + reproductive care online, with discreet and convenient treatment that saves them time, money, and stress. Our goal is to empower everyone to make the decisions about their health that are right for them. We are a growing, fully-remote team in the United States looking for collaborators who are committed to our mission, passionate about results, eager to build something amazing, and excited to have high levels of ownership, accountability, and personal growth.
We are currently looking for a Vice President of Operations to join our team. This hire is crucial to help grow and elevate operational excellence at Wisp. The VP of Operations will own and drive operational strategy for Wisp, synthesizing several aspects of our telehealth operations including pharmaceutical, compliance, finance, and customer support. Additionally, this person will be responsible for helping shape and grow our operations team as well as uplifting our current middle management team.
Partner closely with the COO and executive team to evaluate current organizational performance, determine areas for cost reduction, and implement changes to improve efficiency for the 2025 operations roadmap.
Provide operational leadership and direction for the tactical development, implementation, and execution of practice operations across multiple verticals including patient success, compliance, pharmaceutical, and BizOps.
Collaborate with clinical and operational leaders in the development and delivery of services and products to ensure alignment with patient needs and operational plans.
Support Wisp leadership with quarterly and annual budgeting processes, analyze financial data, and ensure cost-effective use of resources to meet company revenue goals.
Monitor the competitive landscape and attend industry events to stay abreast of new initiatives and ways to stay ahead.
Promote positive relationships and effective cross-functional collaboration and partnership with multiple teams and stakeholder groups, including clinical, product, engineering, and marketing.
Elevate our compliance team to promote operational compliance across all internal departments, including clinical, marketing, and engineering.
Lead and develop a high-performing operations team, fostering a culture of excellence, patient-centricity, and employee engagement.

You have led and grown multi-divisional operational teams for at least 5 years, with at least two of those years managing other people leaders.
You have experience scaling an operations team and can clearly identify what’s needed for a team to go from foundational to next level.
You excel at data-driven storytelling and communicating strategy, particularly at the exec and board level. You know how to identify the most impactful metrics, analyze data, and translate insights to provide necessary context and nuance–and turn it all into actionable strategies and outcomes.
You’re unafraid of navigating ambiguity and are able to make decisions that maintain momentum while mitigating risk.
You are continually learning; you stay abreast of best practices across the industry and leverage a top tier network of advisors and peers when encountering new challenges.
You lead by example: you have experience stepping into the weeds when necessary as well as overseeing overall strategy for a function.
You’re an empathetic leader who cares about team mentorship and development.
You’ve preferably worked in a highly regulated environment: healthcare, financial services, insurance, etc. and have a pragmatic approach when balancing compliance with growth.
