We are seeking a Vice President of Finance to lead Fairmatic’s financial strategy and operations. This executive will play a critical role in ensuring financial discipline, supporting growth, and providing insights that guide strategic decision-making.
Responsibilities
- Lead all aspects of financial planning, analysis, and reporting across the company.
- Partner with the executive team to develop and execute Fairmatic’s long-term financial strategy.
- Build and oversee budgeting, forecasting, and performance tracking processes.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations, reporting requirements, and internal controls.
- Oversee accounting operations, treasury, tax, and audit processes.
- Manage relationships with investors, banks, auditors, and external advisors.
- Provide financial insights to guide pricing, underwriting, and product decisions in collaboration with business leaders.
- Develop dashboards and reporting tools to enable data-driven decision making across the organization.
- Recruit, mentor, and lead a high-performing finance team.
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related field required; MBA or CPA/CFA strongly preferred.
- 12+ years of progressive finance leadership experience, with at least 5 years in a senior management role.
- Strong background in insurance, financial services, or high-growth technology/insurtech companies.
- Proven track record of building scalable finance operations in a dynamic environment.
- Deep understanding of financial modeling, capital planning, and investor relations.
- Excellent communication and executive presence, with the ability to influence at all levels.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor and grow high-performing teams.
- Startup or insurtech experience a plus.
