This is a senior executive leadership role responsible for shaping and executing integrated media strategies that directly drive enrollment outcomes across higher education partners. You will oversee full-funnel media planning and performance across digital and traditional channels, ensuring that campaigns are both data-driven and impact-oriented. The role combines strategic leadership, hands-on performance oversight, and cross-functional collaboration with internal teams and external agencies. You will be accountable for optimizing media investments, improving lead generation efficiency, and scaling audience engagement strategies across multiple platforms. Operating at the intersection of analytics, marketing strategy, and operational execution, you will play a key role in defining how media performance translates into measurable institutional growth. Accountabilities:- Lead the development and execution of full-funnel media strategies designed to drive qualified lead generation and enrollment outcomes across higher education partners.
- Own the overall media vision, including planning, buying, optimization, and performance across digital and traditional channels.
- Manage, mentor, and scale a multidisciplinary team of media professionals while fostering a high-performance and accountability-driven culture.
- Oversee internal teams and external agency partners responsible for paid search, paid social, programmatic, affiliate, SEO/AEO, and CRO initiatives.
- Expand and optimize media mix across digital, emerging, and traditional channels including CTV, out-of-home, print, and broadcast.
- Define audience targeting strategies, budget allocation models, bidding approaches, and creative testing frameworks.
- Monitor and optimize performance against key KPIs such as cost per lead, cost per application, and acquisition efficiency.
- Conduct performance reviews and deliver actionable insights to internal stakeholders, clients, and executive leadership.
- Lead financial oversight of media investments, including forecasting, pacing, and ROI optimization.
- Support business development and client engagements through strategic presentations, proposals, and media recommendations.
Requirements:
- 12+ years of experience in media, digital marketing, or performance marketing, with significant leadership responsibility.
- Proven experience managing both internal teams and external agency partnerships.
- Deep expertise across paid search, paid social, programmatic, affiliate, and full-funnel media strategies.
- Strong experience with traditional media channels such as CTV, radio, print, and out-of-home.
- Solid understanding of SEO, AI-driven optimization, and conversion rate optimization within integrated marketing ecosystems.
- Demonstrated success in lead generation and performance marketing, ideally within higher education or enrollment-driven industries.
- Strong financial acumen with experience managing large-scale media budgets and investment performance.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills across executive-level audiences.
- Ability to build, develop, and scale high-performing teams in fast-paced environments.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required; advanced degree preferred.
