About the role

We’re seeking an entrepreneurial, hands-on executive business unit leader to drive the growth and innovation of our Content Intelligence business unit. As the Head of Content Intelligence, you will bring product vision and own the P&L. In short, you will own and be responsible for the growth, adoption, and overall long term success of our Content Intelligence business. The ideal candidate will shape long-term strategy, drive growth, and lead a cross-functional team to position us as a market leader. This is a unique opportunity to blend your passion in content strategy, using content to engage an audience and/or customer base, and commercial growth to propel our platform into the future. If you are passionate about using content to engage and grow an audience that can be monetized, we invite you to lead our Content Intelligence team into its next chapter.

What you'll do

P&L Ownership and Financial Management

  • Assume full P&L responsibility for the Content Intelligence business unit, overseeing revenue targets, budget planning, and resource allocation.
  • Develop and implement the annual operating plan, focusing on financial growth and operational efficiency.
  • Drive data-informed strategic decisions by analyzing key business drivers and performance metrics.
  • Establish and enforce processes to optimize profitability and operational efficiency.

Content Intelligence Strategy

  • Define and lead the long-term strategic roadmap for the Content Intelligence platform.
  • Utilize data-driven insights to stay attuned to content creator needs, audience behaviors, and emerging monetization strategies.
  • Conduct thorough market research and competitive analysis to identify growth opportunities and support the growth strategy.
  • Collaborate with various teams to ensure the content intelligence strategy aligns with company-wide objectives.

Product Leadership

  • Guide the product vision and roadmap for the Content Intelligence platform, ensuring our offerings are aligned with market demands.
  • Partner with Product Management to develop innovative capabilities that foster audience growth and subscriber retention.
  • Build and maintain relationships throughout the industry to develop relevant strategic partnerships that would be important for our growth.
  • Regularly assess the competitive landscape to strategically position our offerings and explore potential M&A opportunities for accelerated growth.

Commercial Excellence

  • Drive user acquisition, engagement, and monetization by developing and executing effective go-to-market strategies.
  • Define KPIs and continuously optimize operational performance to meet and exceed business targets.
  • Lead a high-performing team across product, engineering, marketing, and sales. Blend your dedicated team along with a team of shared resources throughout the company to drive the business growth.

Team Building & Talent Development

  • Attract, mentor, and retain top talent with expertise in content analytics, audience insights, and the creator economy.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, data-driven decision-making, and an unwavering focus on customer success.
  • Work in partnership with other business units to align on best practices and company-wide initiatives. These best practices stem from a common use of customer experience, sales, and marketing systems that are activated across the company. You will work with these systems and identify what should be customized for your business and what can be implemented as is from other businesses.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in P&L management, financial planning, and strategic business leadership within content intelligence, digital media, or a related industry.
  • Deep understanding of content strategies that drive engagement, growth, and monetization.
  • Strong product leadership experience with a track record of defining and driving product roadmaps.
  • Exceptional analytical skills and the ability to make data-driven decisions.
  • Demonstrated success in team building and talent development, fostering a collaborative and results-oriented culture.
  • Excellent cross-functional collaboration skills, with experience leading high-performing teams in a fast-paced environment.
  • Bachelor's degree required; MBA or equivalent experience in a leadership role is a plus.

What We Offer: We provide competitive compensation (commensurate with experience), excellent benefits, including health, dental, and vision insurance, a generous FTO policy, flexible remote work, and a 401(k) retirement plan with company match. Futuri is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
