As VP, Brand and Communications, you will shape and elevate the global brand strategy, driving awareness, credibility, and engagement across diverse audiences. Reporting to the CMO, this role sets the tone for external and internal communications, ensuring consistency and impact across all touchpoints. You will lead high-performing teams spanning PR, content, social media, creative, and marketing communications, while collaborating cross-functionally to align brand positioning with business goals. The ideal candidate combines visionary leadership with hands-on execution, strong storytelling abilities, and deep experience in brand-building within a B2B technology environment.

Accountabilities:

  • Define and execute the global brand and communications vision, building awareness and recognition across customer, partner, investor, and employee audiences.
  • Lead PR efforts, managing agency relationships and securing visibility in top-tier media outlets aligned with strategic objectives.
  • Drive thought leadership programs, creating high-impact content to establish credibility and category leadership.
  • Oversee social media, community engagement, and content strategies to grow influence and engagement, particularly on LinkedIn and Twitter.
  • Manage analyst and influencer relations, collaborating on joint assets and thought leadership initiatives.
  • Develop corporate messaging and ensure consistent brand storytelling across all communications and marketing channels.
  • Lead external events, executive experiences, and industry trade shows, ensuring they reinforce brand positioning and generate business impact.
  • Partner with leadership and department heads on internal communications that drive alignment, culture, and transparency.
  • Supervise agency partnerships and creative output to ensure high-quality, brand-consistent deliverables.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Communications, Marketing (Master’s preferred).
  • 10+ years of marketing or communications experience, ideally in B2B enterprise software.
  • Proven track record in category creation, brand storytelling, and amplification.
  • Strong leadership capabilities and strategic business acumen.
  • Exceptional storytelling, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience leading multi-disciplinary teams and managing multiple projects under tight deadlines.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, proactive, and able to balance big-picture strategy with execution.
  • Creative, innovative, and collaborative mindset with a passion for brand-building.
