Video Coordinator

The Role

Stocktwits is seeking a creative and driven Video Coordinator with a deep interest in finance and markets. If you’re someone who can turn complex financial topics into compelling visual stories, this is the gig for you. You’ll be a key contributor behind our video content, from brainstorming ideas to the final edit. Your work will be featured across our social channels and YouTube, helping us connect with our audience in new and exciting ways.

You’ll be hands-on with every aspect of video production, collaborating with our in-house talent and content team to bring Stocktwits’ unique blend of education and entertainment to life. This role is specifically to support weekend & early morning production coverage. Do not apply if you are not available to work on weekends or early in the mornings. 

What You'll Do

Video Production Management:

• Support ideation, production, post-production, and distribution of Stocktwits’ finance and markets video content.
• Work closely with on-camera talent to develop content, including research needs, topic ideas, story structure, and delivery.
• Coordinate the creative and development process with internal teams to ensure seamless video production.
• Execute the publishing of video content across platforms, ensuring consistency with Stocktwits’ brand voice and tone.
• Implement sales initiatives within video content as needed.

Content Development:

• Pitch fresh, engaging, and unexpected video content ideas that align with Stocktwits' brand and audience.
• Research and prepare topics related to finance, markets, and investing for video content.
• Develop video structures that are both informative and entertaining, keeping the audience engaged.

What You'll Need

• Finance Enthusiast: You’re passionate about markets, investing, and the economy, and you can translate that enthusiasm into compelling content.
• Content Creator: You’ve got experience in video production, from scripting to editing, and you’re comfortable using tools like Adobe Premiere and Photoshop
• Social Media Savvy: You know what works on platforms like YouTube, TikTok, and X), and you’re always thinking about how to engage those audiences.
• Detail-Oriented: You’re organized, communicative, and nothing slips through the cracks on your watch.
• Experienced: You’ve spent 2+ years in media or video production, and you’re ready to bring your expertise to Stocktwits.
• Creative Visionary: You’re not just a producer—you’re a storyteller who knows how to captivate an audience.

Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including geographic location as well as candidate experience and expertise. The range listed is just one component of our total compensation package for employees. If you have questions on compensation bands, please ask your recruiter.
