  • Manage external advisors and legal counsel while staying current on tax legislation and policy developments impacting the industry.

Requirements:

  • 10–15+ years of progressive tax experience with leadership responsibility, ideally in renewable energy, infrastructure, or complex project-based industries.
  • J.D. or CPA required; advanced tax education (LL.M. or Master’s in Taxation) preferred.
  • Strong expertise in partnership taxation (Subchapter K), tax equity structures, and renewable energy tax credit frameworks.
  • Proven experience managing large-scale tax operations, compliance programs, and cross-border or multi-jurisdictional tax issues.
  • Deep understanding of project finance, debt structuring, and investment modeling in capital-intensive environments.
  • Strong analytical, financial modeling, and critical thinking skills with the ability to evaluate complex tax scenarios.
  • Demonstrated leadership in managing external advisors, auditors, and regulatory relationships.
  • Excellent communication and executive presence, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
  • High sense of urgency, strong business acumen, and ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced growth environment.

Benefits:

  • Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance coverage
  • 401(k) retirement plan with employer matching
  • Flexible paid time off (PTO) and holidays
  • Remote-friendly work environment
