Job Description

As the Vice President of Marketing, you will play a pivotal role and will oversee all marketing operations, brand management, and digital initiatives. This position requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of marketing, brand development, and customer engagement. With a minimum of 10 years of leadership experience, you will bring a wealth of knowledge and expertise to shape and execute our channel sales vision, foster strategic alliances, and influence revenue. Your leadership will be instrumental in accelerating revenue growth, increasing market penetration, and ensuring exceptional customer experiences. You will oversee the marketing team, branding, public relations, and market research teams. You will manage the marketing budget and analyze market trends to identify opportunities for growth. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with excellent leadership skills and an ability to collaborate with other senior executives. They will have a proven track record of leading high-performing marketing teams and a deep understanding of digital marketing, brand management, and market analytics. This is a high-impact role where you will collaborate closely with the senior executive team and cross-functional stakeholders to achieve our company's goals.

Top 5 Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and execute the company's brand and marketing strategy in alignment with business goals and objectives.
  2. Identify and assess new marketing opportunities, market trends, and competitive dynamics. 
  3. Develop and implement digital marketing strategies to drive online engagement and sales
  4. Collaborate with the services teams to develop and execute go-to-market strategies for new services
  5. Serve as the primary point of contact for marketing matters with internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify and assess new marketing opportunities, market trends, and competitive dynamics.
  • Collaborate with the executive team to set strategic priorities and goals for marketing initiatives.
  • Oversee the development and management of the company's brand identity and positioning.
  • Ensure consistent brand messaging across all marketing channels and customer touchpoints.
  • Be the company brand steward internal and external. McFadyen Digital’s offerings continually evolve, and internal and external communications.
  • Lead initiatives to enhance brand awareness, reputation, and equity.
  • Develop and implement digital marketing strategies to drive online engagement and sales.
  • Oversee the management of the company's website, social media presence, and digital advertising campaigns.
  • Utilize data analytics to measure the effectiveness of digital marketing efforts and optimize performance.
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance customer engagement and loyalty.
  • Oversee the creation and execution of marketing campaigns that resonate with target audiences.
  • Utilize customer insights and market research to inform marketing strategies and decisions.
  • Collaborate with the product development team to develop and execute go-to-market strategies for new products and services.
  • Oversee the development of product messaging, positioning, and promotional materials.
  • Ensure successful product launches and ongoing product marketing efforts.
  • Develop and implement public relations strategies to enhance the company's visibility and reputation.
  • Oversee the management of media relations, including press releases, media inquiries, and crisis communication.
  • Ensure effective communication of the company's mission, vision, and values to external audiences.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the marketing team, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
  • Promote collaboration and effective communication within the marketing team and across the organization.
  • Identify and address training and development needs within the marketing team.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, partners, and media.
  • Communicate the company's marketing vision, strategy, and performance to the executive team.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence revenue growth through strategic partnerships, channel sales, and marketing programs.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Develop and implement marketing strategies that align with business goals.
  • Lead the marketing team and foster a culture of creativity and excellence.
  • Build and maintain a strong brand presence.

  • Collaborate with sales and services teams to ensure a seamless customer experience.
  • Ability to be both strategic and tactical; see the forest and the trees, and what’s beyond
  • Possess innovative, creative, and entrepreneurial mindset.
  • Strong time management, organizational skills, attention to detail, communication and interpersonal skills are required.
  • Proven ability to effectively interact with and forge relationships with employees, customers and partners at all levels of the organization and in the market
  • Must be a team player, able to meet strict deadlines, work with minimal supervision, but be accountable for results

  • Experience working in a fast paced, ever-changing environment.
