How You’ll Do It
· Storytelling & Writing: Transform complex ideas into clear, compelling narratives that showcase our expertise and impact.
· Project Management: Run pitch processes like a pro – building timelines, aligning stakeholders, and ensuring nothing slips through the cracks.
· Collaboration: Partner with senior leaders across strategy, creative, and client service to integrate their contributions into persuasive, cohesive materials.
· Presentation Excellence: Apply an eye for design and storytelling to elevate presentations, ensuring every deliverable is slick, cohesive, and client-ready, with an eagle eye for detail down to the extra space between words.
· Creativity & Rigor: Infuse pitches with ideas that surprise and delight clients — from inventive Q&A formats to dynamic tissue sessions and imaginative follow-ups.
· Leadership & Mentorship: Provide calm, confidence, and organization in high-pressure environments while directly managing or mentoring one junior Growth team member.
What You’ll Need to Do It
· 12+ years of experience in marketing, communications, or related fields, with at least 7 years in a senior new business or growth role.
· Required: Significant experience in an advertising or marketing agency environment, with direct responsibility for business development.
· Required: Depth of experience in the pharmaceutical and biotech sectors.
· Demonstrated success leading RFIs, RFPs, and pitch processes at an agency.
· Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills.
· High proficiency in PowerPoint — not to design, but to shape narratives, critique design quality, and ensure storytelling flows seamlessly.
· Fluency in pharma/biotech brand lifecycles and core stakeholders, especially patient/caregiver and HCP audiences.
· Proven project management expertise with ability to manage multiple complex workstreams under tight deadlines.
· Comfort working directly with executive leadership and guiding cross-functional teams.
· A portfolio of work (presentations, case studies, proposals) that demonstrates both strategic thinking and creative flair.
