Veterinary Project Manager

This fully remote role offers an opportunity to combine hands-on veterinary expertise with technology and project management to improve the way veterinary teams work. You will serve as a key bridge between product teams and veterinary customers, ensuring that real-world clinic workflows inform meaningful product decisions. Working across Product, Engineering, Customer Success, Operations, and external partners, you will lead strategic initiatives from planning through execution. You will also help coordinate product launches, manage important partnerships, and keep cross-functional teams aligned. Your firsthand understanding of veterinary operations will help ensure that technology addresses genuine challenges faced by clinics and their teams. Accountabilities:

As a Veterinary Project Manager, you will bring veterinary operational expertise into product development while coordinating complex initiatives and partnerships across multiple teams.

Advise Product Managers on veterinary clinic operations, workflows, and practice management processes to help validate product decisions.
Lead cross-functional projects involving Product, Engineering, Customer Success, Operations, Marketing, and other stakeholders.
Manage strategic initiatives from planning and coordination through execution, ensuring timelines and deliverables remain on track.
Serve as a primary product contact for corporate veterinary groups, integration partners, and other external stakeholders.
Lead discussions with external partners, gather feedback, and drive collaborative initiatives.
Support product launches by coordinating go-to-market activities, stakeholder communications, launch readiness, and post-launch execution.
Bridge business and product teams by aligning priorities, facilitating communication, and resolving dependencies.
Track project timelines, dependencies, risks, and key milestones while keeping stakeholders informed.
Create and maintain project plans, process documentation, meeting notes, and other resources that support team alignment.
Champion the customer perspective by incorporating firsthand veterinary experience into product decisions and initiatives.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate combines direct experience in veterinary operations with strong project coordination, communication, and relationship-building capabilities. You should be comfortable working across technical and non-technical teams in a fast-paced environment.

Bachelor's degree required.
Professional experience managing operations within a veterinary hospital or clinic.
Strong understanding of veterinary clinic workflows, operations, and practice management systems.
Experience working within a software or technology company is strongly preferred.
Demonstrated experience leading projects or coordinating cross-functional initiatives involving multiple stakeholders.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with exceptional attention to detail.
Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical teams.
Ability to work independently while driving alignment across Product, Engineering, Customer Success, Marketing, and Operations.

Base salary of $75,000–$100,000 per year, plus bonus, equity, and benefits.
Colorado-specific salary range of $80,000–$95,000 per year, plus bonus, equity, and benefits.
