Veteran Ambassador
Location: 100% Remote (US Only)
Compensation: $55,000 + Commission/Bonus Plan & Benefits
Reports to: Veteran Ambassador Manager
As an essential part of our high achieving Veteran Success team, you will engage with all prospects providing a detailed overview of what Telemedica offers. This will include information gathering, explaining the value of medical evidence for VA claims, the types of services offered, the fee structure, and answering questions for the Veteran. The Veteran Ambassador reports to the Veteran Ambassador Manager.
The Veteran Ambassador will be the prospect's initial contact with Telemedica during a discovery call. This requires a great first impression with the ability to serve with empathy and mindfulness to do what is best for each veteran and help them through an already daunting process.
The Veteran Ambassador will guide the Veteran through the booking process with Telemedica, including, but not limited to, assisting with booking, taking credit card information, and in some cases, advising on how to upload medical records into the system.
What You’ll Do:
Engages with all prospects providing the prospect with a detailed overview of Telemedica offerings, to include the types of services offered, the fee structure, and answering questions for the veteran and setting veteran expectations for upcoming appointments
Gathers information regarding each veteran’s specific disability, past and present diagnoses, upcoming claims, all while maintaining compliance with HIPAA
Fields inbound calls and manage through various channels
Monitors and updates the prospect in Pipedrive daily
Responds promptly to all veteran leads using best practices as outlined by company standards
Provides technical reports of issues through the IT Portal via support tickets
Ensures that every appointment and calendar event scheduled is successfully completed or make other arrangements as necessary
Guides the Veteran prospect through the booking process and ensures the booking has been logged accurately in EHR and processed correctly in Pipedrive
Coordinates with Telemedica customer service or provider support teams to address any specific issues that may arise
Drives to reach and exceeds monthly sales/conversion goals set by company every month
Regularly follows up with leads that did not convert to drive higher conversion rates
When tasked with and scheduled to work the live chat portals, the Veteran Ambassador will be responsible for answering Veteran questions and issues as well as providing the link to schedule a 10-minute discovery call with a Veteran Ambassador team member
Attends cross-training sessions with customer service team and assist with customer service duties when no Veteran Ambassador calls or follow up is scheduled

Required Qualifications:
2 + years of experience in a sales-focused role. I.E., Inside/Outside Sales, Business Development
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree
Experience working with Veterans
Health Care (HIPAA compliance) experience

Expected Compensation:
$55,000 annual salary, plus commission/bonus plan and benefits. Pay offered will depend on market location, experience, and qualifications. Additional details about benefits will be shared upon offer.
