Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

1. Designing, deploying and optimizing Versa SDWAN solutions, providing technical leadership  and collaborating with customers and other stakeholders to ensure successful implementations.
2. Analyzes, designs and develops technical solutions to customer reported problems and internally reported issues
3. Helps L3 support and customers to solve reported product and network problems of varied complexity
4. Replicate customer issues in the lab environment.
5. Coordinate with OEMs to replicate customer issues and test possible fixes.
6. Perform hands-on tests to validate customer proof-of-concept setups, network designs, and network deployments using new products and feature
7.  
8. Develop , define and create best practices  for Network
   infrastructure and SDWAN design

10. Setting up infrastructure.

12. Create knowledge articles.

14. Ability to write bash/python scripts

16. Validate hot fixes and provide recommendations to operations team

 Technical Skills :

1. Good understanding  of the architecture, components, and functionality of the Versa SD-WAN platform. 
2. Ability to configure and provision Versa SD-WAN devices and services
3. Versa Concerto Orchestration:
   1. Proficiency in using Concerto's lifecycle stages for configuring, deploying, monitoring, and managing SD-WAN deployments
   2. Understanding Concerto's hierarchical configuration structure, including master profiles, subprofiles, policies, and rules
   3. Ability to create, configure, and manage SD-WAN tenants within Concerto
   4. Familiarity with Concerto's API for automation and integration
   5. To effectively manage and deploy Versa's Secure SD-WAN solutions using Versa Concerto
4. Good hands-on experience in managing device configurations, software upgrades, and other administrative tasks
5. Proficiency in using the tools for SD-WAN management, monitoring, and troubleshooting
6. Ability to identify and resolve SD-WAN performance issues using Versa Director and Versa Analytics
7. Must have hands-on experience on IP Networking , Routing protocols (OSPF, BGP, L3VPN, DHCP, DNS, NAT, BFD, Application aware Routing & QoS) and switching (VLAN, Trunking, Dot1x, various flavors of STP, VxLAN)
8. TCP/IP protocol suite
9. Good understanding of IPSec VPN/SSL-VPN/NAT/GRE.
10. Good knowledge in analyzing traffic and packet flows using packet analyzers such as Wireshark, tcpdump etc.
11. Understanding of security logs , vulnerabilities , CVEs, threat map
12. Working knowledge of Linux/Unix environment.
13. Good understanding of virtualization, SaaS, IaaS and related technologies.
14. Experience in managing, supporting, and deploying network infrastructures.
15. Strong ability to diagnose server or network issues which will be complex in nature.
16. Basic understanding of hardware level troubleshooting and system level troubleshooting
17. Experience with Hybrid Cloud network deployments including AWS, OpenStack, GCP is a plus.
