This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Vector Command Specialist in United States.

This role is an exciting opportunity for a technically skilled professional to support clients in improving their security posture through advanced attack surface analysis and reconnaissance. You will act as both a technical analyst and a customer liaison, helping organizations understand vulnerabilities, prioritize risks, and strengthen their defenses. The position involves collaborating with Red Team operators and Managed Services teams to deliver high-quality reports, support ongoing security exercises, and integrate tools and platforms for seamless operations. You will gain exposure to the latest penetration testing methods, OSINT techniques, and network security practices while communicating technical findings clearly to non-technical stakeholders. This role provides a fast-paced, collaborative environment where your expertise directly contributes to client security outcomes and the evolution of offensive security practices.

Accountabilities:
  • Conduct external attack surface analysis, manual reconnaissance, and OSINT research to identify vulnerabilities across customer environments.
  • Onboard clients to the platform, manage integrations, and ensure completeness and quality of deliverables.
  • Serve as primary contact for client inquiries regarding security testing operations, alerts, or Red Team activities.
  • Coordinate internal and external communications with Managed Services teams and other stakeholders.
  • Assist Red Team operators in ongoing exercises and ensure updates on significant changes to client attack surfaces.
  • Develop scripts to query, analyze, and visualize attack surface data from multiple sources.
  • Produce clear, executive-ready reports and summaries highlighting client security posture and remediation recommendations.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years in an active technical security role, including penetration testing or security consulting experience.
  • Strong understanding of network, web application, and wireless security (IEEE 802.11) concepts.
  • Knowledge of Windows, Linux, and UNIX internals, as well as Internet protocols.
  • Experience with external attack surface reconnaissance and modern penetration testing tools.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python or PowerShell.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, CIS, or equivalent experience.
  • Preferred certifications: GPEN, PJPT, PNPT, CPTS, or OSCP.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively, prioritize tasks, and support client-focused outcomes.

Benefits:

  • Competitive annual salary range of $89,300–$120,800 USD (may vary by location).
  • Comprehensive healthcare coverage including medical, dental, and vision plans.
  • Paid time off (PTO) and flexible work arrangements, including remote-friendly options.
  • Opportunities for professional development and career growth.
  • Exposure to cutting-edge security technologies and threat research.
  • Collaborative and inclusive team environment focused on learning, innovation, and client success.
