Design and execute “day-in-the-life” restaurant tests that simulate full workflows—from order placement through payment, kitchen routing, and reporting.
Validate brand-specific deployments ensuring code, configuration, and menu logic behave as expected in production-like conditions.
Verify and troubleshoot integrations with DSPs, loyalty, payment processors, and reporting tools, ensuring reliable API behavior and data flow.
Partner with Product and Operations to define low-touch Android device provisioning and installation standards.
Create internal documentation and test artifacts that support onboarding and operational scaling.
What we're looking for:
Strong understanding of Android system architecture (AOSP, firmware, device drivers) and experience working with both x86 and ARM devices.
Familiarity with mobile device management (MDM), OTA updates, and deployment automation.
5+ years of experience validating or engineering Android OS-based platforms, preferably in POS, kiosk, or other embedded systems.
Experience in QA/validation engineering with a methodical and detail-oriented mindset.
Bonus: Experience in the restaurant tech industry or with enterprise-grade hardware rollouts.
