As the Senior Vice President, Customer Operations, you will be responsible for partnering with executive level clients to successfully communicate R1's results in relation to the client's KPI expectations. You will connect in person with clients in the West Coast region, to work through change management of processes, while educating leaders on R1's key deliverables. You will partner with internal executives to communicate client feedback and drive change through influence, but not direct oversight.
Everyday you will work in a matrixed environment focused on client relationship management and customer satisfaction. You will translate industry expertise into strategic vision and operational tactics to improve revenue cycle performance to deliver superior results.
To thrive in this role, you must partner with executive level clients to align operational objectives with performance. You must develop and maintain strong relationships with c-suites, while leading in a fast paced high growth environment. You must monitor performance KPI's and ensure budget expectations are met in accordance with contract MSA.
Preferred Qualifications:
15 years of relevant Operational leadership experience
7 years of steadily advancing leadership roles and a proven track record of success.
Strategic vision across operational excellence with demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across functions to achieve growth goals.
Analytical Skills – ability to translate operational concepts into measurable results and design meaningful data analytics efforts. Use of consumer behavior analytics to determine approaches to drive ROI
Strong leader who can lead a transformation and also lead a team to buy into the vision
Strong and broad understanding of Revenue Cycle Operations within a Hospital setting.
Tenacity /Grit – This role will require getting deep into details and personally driving results in complex and challenging environments.  While this work can be tedious, it is foundational to success.
Leadership Skills – Strong communications and leadership skills, acting as a role model and coaching team members in R1’s core values.
Change Management – The ability to help counterparts through difficult transitions to a new process, technology, workflow, or situation.
Interpersonal Skills – The ability to establish oneself as a peer and trusted partner for our client counterparts.
