So, if our mission speaks to you, join us!</div>What You’ll Do As a Transportation Coordinator, you will play a key role in coordinating and facilitating transportation services for patients in need. Your primary responsibility will be to secure reliable transportation for dialysis treatment or other medical services, such as transplant-related or other high-priority appointments. You will be responsible for accepting incoming calls and conducting outbound calls to fulfill requests. You will work closely with patients, caregivers, vendors, and medical provider staff Essential Functions: <ul><li>Answer transportation-related phone calls and schedule on-demand rides for qualifying requests  </li><li>Partner with transportation vendors to coordinate ride requests varying in complexity, ensuring timely transportation to appointments  </li><li>Address transportation-related challenges by thinking creatively and implementing innovative solutions  </li><li>Display professionalism, compassion, empathy, and active listening to understand caller needs and offer suitable solutions  </li><li>Monitor high-priority transportation requests to ensure services were initiated as scheduled  </li><li>You will navigate transportation applications and conduct independent research for additional transportation resources when needed  </li><li>Field occasional non-transportation related phone calls and route appropriately  </li><li>Opportunities to assist with various projects </li></ul>What You’ll Need: Education and Experience: Required <ul><li>1 year of customer service or administrative support experience  </li><li>Attention to detail, strong problem-solving, and tenacity  </li><li>Highly skilled communicator with a proven track record of handling challenging situations with poise and empathy  </li><li>Adaptable and flexible approach to accommodate changing transportation needs  </li><li>High level of dependability, ability to multi-task, and strong prioritization skills   </li></ul>Preferred <ul><li data-leveltext="" data-font="Symbol" data-listid="8" data-list-defn-props="{"335552541":1,"335559685":720,"335559991":360,"469769226":"Symbol","469769242":[8226],"469777803":"left","469777804":"","469777815":"hybridMultilevel"}" data-aria-posinset="6" data-aria-level="1">Basic computer skills. Familiarity with Microsoft Office application. </li></ul>Physical Requirements: <ul><li>Have a secure private office area that allows for protection of PHI. </li><li>May be regularly required to stand, sit, talk, hear, reach, stoop, kneel, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer and keyboard.  </li><li>Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision requirements due to computer work.
