Threat Intelligence / OSINT Analyst

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Threat Intelligence / OSINT Analyst in the United States.

This role focuses on uncovering, analyzing, and producing actionable intelligence from open-source and digital environments to support cybersecurity, investigative, and operational teams. The analyst will monitor cyber, criminal, geopolitical, and emerging technology threats using OSINT, social media, dark web, and technical telemetry. By transforming raw information into insightful reports and briefings, this position directly contributes to proactive risk mitigation, operational decision-making, and organizational security. You will work collaboratively across teams, employ advanced research techniques, and develop intelligence products that inform strategy and response. The ideal candidate combines investigative rigor with analytical excellence and strong communication skills.

Accountabilities:

·         Conduct OSINT research across social media, forums, news media, code repositories, and publicly available datasets.

·         Investigate online communities, dark/deep web platforms, and emerging digital ecosystems using non-attributable methods.

·         Monitor cyber threat actor activity, illicit marketplaces, malware communities, and global criminal or geopolitical trends.

·         Analyze collected data to identify indicators, patterns, TTPs, and potential vulnerabilities.

·         Produce tactical, operational, and strategic intelligence reports, dashboards, and visualizations for leadership and operational teams.

·         Support cybersecurity teams by providing insights on IOCs, adversary profiles, and threat mitigation strategies.

·         Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure intelligence aligns with organizational priorities and mission objectives.

Requirements

·         Proven experience in OSINT collection, cyber threat intelligence, digital investigations, or related intelligence disciplines.

·         Strong knowledge of cyber threat actor tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs) and global threat trends.

·         Proficiency with OSINT tools, social media intelligence (SOCMINT) methods, and open-source research techniques.

·         Familiarity with TOR, VPNs, encryption tools, and operational security (OPSEC) for secure investigations.

·         Understanding of cybersecurity fundamentals, including malware behaviors, incident response workflows, and vulnerabilities.

·         Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to derive insights from incomplete data.

·         Strong written and verbal communication abilities, including producing actionable intelligence products.

·         Preferred: experience with scripting (Python), OSINT automation, digital forensics, SIEMs, TIPs, or geopolitical analysis.
