This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of Anika Systems. We are currently looking for a Test Automation Engineer in United States.

This is a fully remote opportunity for a highly skilled professional to shape and implement advanced test automation frameworks supporting federal automation projects. The role is focused on ensuring reliability, scalability, and efficiency across multiple platforms and coded workflows, while embedding testing into CI/CD pipelines for seamless integration. Working closely with developers, solution architects, and DevOps teams, you will design reusable components, streamline regression testing, and safeguard stability during code changes or platform upgrades. The position is ideal for a detail-oriented engineer eager to make a tangible impact on mission-critical automation initiatives while collaborating in a forward-thinking environment.

Accountabilities

  • Design and implement a sustainable and reusable test automation framework for workflows built in UiPath, C#, Python, and Java.
  • Develop reusable test components to minimize validation time across large automation portfolios.
  • Build a comprehensive regression test suite that automatically executes during GitHub check-ins and code promotions.
  • Implement unit tests for core automation functions such as authentication, data operations, and REST API calls.
  • Integrate test automation with Jenkins pipelines, ensuring regression testing before higher environment deployments.
  • Provide reporting and dashboards to track results, pass/fail trends, and code coverage.
  • Collaborate with development teams to improve testability, share best practices, and standardize automation testing methods.
  • Document strategies and processes to ensure scalability, consistency, and knowledge sharing across programs.

Requirements

  • Strong proficiency in C# (preferred) with working knowledge of Python or Java.
  • Demonstrated experience designing or contributing to test automation frameworks, including regression, unit, and data-driven testing.
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or GitHub Actions.
  • Familiarity with mocking frameworks like Mockito (Java) or C# equivalents.
  • Ability to design reusable test components for cross-automation validation.
  • Experience testing robotic process automation (UiPath preferred) or similar workflow platforms.
  • Solid understanding of SDLC, DevOps principles, and TDD/BDD practices.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience working with IRS or other federal automation programs.
  • Familiarity with Docker or Kubernetes for managing test environments.
  • Knowledge of testing strategies for platform upgrades, such as .NET or UiPath version migrations.
  • Experience developing frameworks to support large-scale automation portfolios.

Benefits

  • 100% remote role with flexible work arrangements.
  • Competitive compensation package.
  • Comprehensive healthcare, dental, and vision insurance.
  • Retirement savings plan with employer contribution.
  • Paid time off, holidays, and leave programs.
  • Opportunities for professional growth and certification support.
  • Work-life balance with wellness and support programs.
