Temporary Onboarding Coordinator (Support Role)

We are seeking a Temporary Onboarding Coordinator to join our team for a limited-term role supporting our summer onboarding operations. Are you someone who loves keeping things organized, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and doesn’t mind (gently) nudging people to get things done? Do you know how to connect the dots, ask the right questions, and stay on top of tasks like a pro? If so, we want YOU to join our team as our Summer Onboarding Coordinator this summer!
This full-time, temporary role is perfect for someone with an associate degree or higher and an interest in EdTech. This role is focused on providing operational and logistical support to ensure a smooth onboarding process for new schools. It helps the team implement established processes effectively.

What You’ll Be Doing

Here’s how you’ll make an impact:

Customer Onboarding Support

  • Collaborate with team members to execute pre-defined onboarding steps, including configuration, admin coaching, and staff training phases.
  • Assist with scheduling meetings and tracking onboarding progress to ensure tasks are completed on time and schools stay on track.
  • Provide administrative support by maintaining accurate records, managing follow-ups, and ensuring smooth communication throughout the onboarding process.

Internal Team Coordination

  • Take detailed meeting notes and update tasks in trackers to keep the team organized and informed.
  • Send timely reminders about deadlines and upcoming meetings, ensuring everyone is aligned on priorities.
  • Monitor progress and flag any potential issues to ensure nothing falls through the cracks—your attention to detail will be key to keeping operations running smoothly.

Requirements

What Makes You Our Ideal Candidate

We’re looking for someone who checks most (if not all) of these boxes:

Education: An associate degree in a relevant field such as operations, administration, customer success, or a related area is required. A bachelor’s degree is welcome but unnecessary—we value your skills and experience above all!

Background & Experience:

You have experience in roles that involve supporting teams, managing processes, or coordinating operations, regardless of the industry. Bonus points if you’re familiar with tools like DeansList or have worked with systems for tracking behavior, managing data, or streamlining communications.

You’ve proven experience in administrative or customer-facing roles where organization and follow-through were key.

Skills That Shine:

Tech-savvy: You readily use software tools for note-taking, task management, and data entry, particularly Monday.com, Slack, and Notion.

Proactive & detail-oriented: You’re the person who spots what needs to be done before anyone else—and then does it.

Communication wizard: Your emails are precise, professional, and maybe even a little fun

Fast learner: Comfortable working within established frameworks and processes to achieve defined goals

Why Join Us?

We’re on a mission to make educators’ lives easier by creating tools that save time, improve collaboration, and help schools achieve their goals. We’re not just software vendors—we’re partners in helping schools succeed. Our team is collaborative, goal-oriented, and focused—especially during the onboarding season when things get busy! While we work hard to meet our goals, we also believe in maintaining balance and flexibility wherever possible.

Important Details

  • Work Environment: Fully remote (work from wherever you’re most productive).
  • Duration: This is a full-time, temporary position that will run from July to September, lasting approximately three months.
  • Future Opportunities: There is a possibility that this role could lead to a full-time School Success Associate position in the future. Beyond your time with us, we’ll support you in leveraging this experience to find your next role in EdTech!

Benefits

Perks of the Job

  • We’ll provide you with all the necessary equipment (laptop included). At the end of your contract, you’ll return the laptop but can keep everything else (keyboard, mouse, monitor, AirPods, etc.).
  • Health Insurance
  • Dental/Vision
  • Health Saving Account

Compensation

$29/Hour (non-negotiable).

We always make first and best offers, and there is no negotiation (for new hires or our existing teammates). This ensures that people are paid based on their expected contribution, rather than their negotiation skills.

How to Apply

If this sounds like your kind of summer gig—and you think you’d thrive as part of our team—apply now! We can’t wait to meet you.

The application deadline is April 14, 2025.
