This role plays a key part in supporting advanced energy-saving and sustainability solutions for commercial customers across multiple industries. You will act as a technical point of contact for diagnosing, troubleshooting, and resolving issues related to HVAC, refrigeration, metering, and connected IoT systems. Working in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment, you will support customers and third-party vendors through multi-channel communication while ensuring timely issue resolution. The position requires strong technical acumen combined with customer service excellence, as you will manage multiple tickets and prioritize urgent operational needs. You will collaborate with internal engineering and software teams to escalate complex issues and ensure system reliability. This is a hands-on support role where your expertise directly contributes to energy efficiency and carbon reduction initiatives.
Accountabilities- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues related to HVAC, refrigeration, metering, and energy management systems.
- Track and manage customer support cases through to resolution within defined service timelines.
- Communicate effectively with customers and third-party vendors via phone, email, and digital support channels.
- Escalate complex or unresolved technical issues to internal engineering, software, or operations teams when necessary.
- Provide timely, accurate updates and feedback to customers throughout the resolution process.
- Ensure all incidents are properly documented, logged, and tracked in support systems.
- Manage multiple concurrent support tickets while maintaining prioritization and service quality.
- Follow up with clients to confirm system functionality and issue resolution after troubleshooting.
- Prepare detailed technical reports and maintain documentation, manuals, and internal knowledge resources.
- Deliver training and guidance to vendors on systems, processes, and technical solutions.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in a technical support or customer-facing role involving HVAC, refrigeration, electrical systems, or related technologies.
- Hands-on field experience with HVAC/R systems and troubleshooting methodologies.
- Industry certifications in HVAC, refrigeration, or electrical systems strongly preferred.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with customer-focused professionalism.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and support tickets in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with Windows operating systems and technical support tools.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
- Comfortable working flexible hours, including occasional weekends or late-night support as needed.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders.
