This role sits at the intersection of cloud engineering, product delivery, and program execution, driving the successful development and release of large-scale cloud services and event-driven applications. You will be responsible for orchestrating complex technical programs that power AI-driven, cloud-first platforms used by communication service providers. The position requires close collaboration with engineering, product, design, and QA teams to ensure seamless delivery of scalable, reliable cloud capabilities. You will operate in a highly technical, fast-moving environment where clarity, coordination, and execution discipline are critical. This is a high-impact role where you will translate product vision into actionable engineering roadmaps while managing dependencies, risks, and release readiness. Your work will directly influence platform performance, innovation speed, and customer experience at scale.
Accountabilities:- Lead end-to-end delivery of cloud services and event-driven applications, including planning, execution, and release management across multiple engineering teams.
- Partner with product owners to analyze requirements, identify dependencies, and translate business needs into actionable technical execution plans.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams including engineering, QA, product management, and design to ensure smooth and timely delivery of cloud product releases.
- Manage release planning activities such as readiness checklists, deployment plans, dependency tracking, risk mitigation, and release calendar management.
- Facilitate technical discussions across engineering teams, including creation of epics, solution breakdowns, and design documentation alignment.
- Support troubleshooting of technical issues while guiding teams on best practices, workflows, and Jira hygiene.
- Collaborate with leadership to translate platform opportunities into scalable roadmaps and ensure successful delivery of new capabilities.
- Drive continuous improvement in development processes, execution efficiency, and cross-team coordination.
Requirements:
- 6+ years of experience in software development and/or technical program management within cloud or enterprise technology environments.
- Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle, including scoping, scheduling, risk management, and delivery execution.
- Experience working with microservices architectures, APIs, and distributed cloud systems.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms, preferably AWS and GCP, with strong preference for GCP exposure.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills across technical and non-technical teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to simplify complex technical concepts.
- Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent programs in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment.
- Experience with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Git, CI/CD tools (e.g., Bamboo), and BI tools like PowerBI.
- Strong ability to influence, drive alignment, and deliver outcomes across large cross-functional teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field (Master’s preferred).
