While working with a leading banking client you will drive product strategy, manage the product backlog, and partner with software engineering teams to deliver solutions that enhance customer targeting and engagement.</p><p data-start="633" data-end="659"><strong data-start="633" data-end="657">Key Responsibilities</strong></p><ul data-start="660" data-end="1717"><li data-start="660" data-end="804"><p data-start="662" data-end="804">Own and manage the product backlog and status sheet, ensuring visibility of current epics, upcoming work, and long-term product roadmap.</p></li><li data-start="805" data-end="963"><p data-start="807" data-end="963">Translate business objectives into clear requirements through Product Requirement Documents (PRDs), aligning them with marketing and technology goals.</p></li><li data-start="964" data-end="1109"><p data-start="966" data-end="1109">Partner with software engineering teams to break down epics into Jira stories, ensuring requirements are actionable and delivery-focused.</p></li><li data-start="1110" data-end="1277"><p data-start="1112" data-end="1277">Actively manage backlog refinement—adding, prioritizing, and grooming items both proactively (strategic needs) and reactively (ad hoc requests, production issues).</p></li><li data-start="1278" data-end="1423"><p data-start="1280" data-end="1423">Oversee agile ceremonies with the engineering team, ensuring Jira epics and stories remain aligned with requirements and delivery milestones.</p></li><li data-start="1424" data-end="1551"><p data-start="1426" data-end="1551">Monitor and support product delivery, including tracking completion in Jira and addressing production issues as needed.</p></li><li data-start="1552" data-end="1717"><p data-start="1554" data-end="1717">Provide ad hoc support for leadership reporting, including preparing status updates, slide content, and discussions related to product strategy and progress.</p></li></ul><p data-start="1719" data-end="1739"><strong data-start="1719" data-end="1737">Qualifications</strong></p><ul data-start="1740" data-end="2307"><li data-start="1740" data-end="1868"><p data-start="1742" data-end="1868">Five or more years experience as a Product Owner in marketing technology, financial services, or banking.</p></li><li data-start="1869" data-end="1972"><p data-start="1871" data-end="1972">Strong background in marketing technology platforms.</p></li><li data-start="1973" data-end="2061"><p data-start="1975" data-end="2061">Hands-on experience with Agile delivery practices, backlog management, and Jira.</p></li><li data-start="2062" data-end="2150"><p data-start="2064" data-end="2150">Ability to translate complex business needs into clear, actionable requirements.</p></li><li data-start="2151" data-end="2307"><p data-start="2153" data-end="2307">Strong collaboration and communication skills, with experience working cross-functionally with engineering, business stakeholders, and leadership teams.</p></li></ul><p> </p><p>This is a hybrid role with 3 days onsite in NYC or Wilmington, DE.</p><p> </p><div class="content-conclusion"><p>Our success over the past 20 years is rooted in our exceptional team, which thrives in a culture of collaboration, creativity, and continuous learning. <br><br>We are proud to offer our employees a range of benefits, including competitive compensation, professional development opportunities, and flexible work arrangements, all designed to help them thrive.
