In this role, you will lead the strategy, development, and lifecycle management of technical products that optimize laboratory, order-to-cash, and analytics workflows. You will bridge business and technical teams to ensure efficient operations, data integrity, and compliance with healthcare standards. Collaborating with engineering, analytics, and clinical stakeholders, you will implement solutions that enhance operational performance and enable data-driven decisions. This role offers a blend of strategic planning, hands-on product execution, and cross-functional leadership in a regulated, high-impact environment. You will influence product roadmap, support digital transformation initiatives, and help shape scalable, secure, and user-centric systems. Your work will directly improve patient care outcomes and streamline critical operational processes.
Accountabilities:- Define and execute the product vision, roadmap, and backlog, prioritizing features based on business value, user needs, and technical feasibility.
- Collaborate with engineering, lab, analytics, customer service, and billing teams to gather requirements and translate them into actionable user stories.
- Optimize workflow efficiency, data handoffs, and analytics processes by conducting user feedback sessions and applying operational insights.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare standards and regulations, such as HIPAA and CLIA, while implementing scalable, secure, and interoperable solutions.
- Integrate APIs, tools, and cloud services to support real-time order processing, reporting, and analytics.
- Serve as a technical product owner, facilitating Scrum ceremonies, backlog grooming, and stakeholder alignment.
- Partner with leadership to align product strategy with broader digital transformation and data initiatives.
- Provide training, documentation, and guidance to internal teams and external partners on workflow and system integrations.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Health Informatics, or a related field.
- 5+ years of product management experience with technical products, preferably in healthcare or software integration.
- Familiarity with laboratory, order-to-cash, or analytics workflows in regulated healthcare environments.
- Strong technical proficiency, including APIs, cloud services (AWS, GCP), data modeling, and software development lifecycle.
- Experience with systems such as Salesforce, LIMS, or bioinformatics pipelines.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, able to translate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to manage cross-functional projects in fast-paced, regulated industries.
