Owning the product roadmap for our tax engine, delivery service, and other core marketing growth product offerings.
Working cross-functionally with sales & partnership teams to identify potential growth products that helps OpenBorder Merchants to grow internationally
Building client-facing tools and ensuring seamless international tax, duties, and checkout experiences
Managing A/B tests and experiments to drive conversion and performance insights
Leading sprint planning and prioritization in an agile environment
Communicating clearly with clients, gathering feedback, and translating needs into technical requirements
Working closely with engineers to define product/feature functionality and execute against the roadmap that enhance our clients & partners’ experience with OpenBorder
Defining and tracking key metrics of the success of our product building & adaptation
Resolving any product issues with OpenBorder clients and cross-functional internal teams
Working closely with React, Node.js, and Shopify ecosystems
Requirements
2–5 years of product management experience in e-commerce (bonus for international ecommerce experience)
Either a degree in Computer Science or hands-on experience with coding/engineering.
Comfortable working with APIs, basic scripting, and collaborating closely with engineers
Familiarity with Shopify, checkout flows, and ecommerce conversion metrics
Excellent communication skills and comfort with client-facing responsibilities
Experience with React, Node.js, and Shopify is a strong plus
Previous exposure to international tax, shipping, or payment systems is a bonus
