Our platform connects a vast network of Home Medical Equipment (HME) providers, clinicians, and payors across all 50 states, ensuring millions of patients get the life-saving products they need quickly and efficiently.</span></div><div><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Join our team and make a difference in patient care.</span></div></div><h3><span style="font-size: 12pt;">About the Role</span></h3><p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Parachute Health is seeking a motivated and collaborative Taxonomist/Content Strategist (Consultant) for a 3-month engagement to develop training materials and documentation for our new product relationship, attribution, and quantity calculation capabilities. You'll work directly with the Merchandising Operations team to capture healthcare industry and company context, create learning resources, and enhance our style guide to support in-flight and upcoming category rollouts. Our catalog currently manages tens of thousands of medical products across complex healthcare categories, and we need help making our new capabilities accessible to the entire team.</span></p><p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">You will report to the VP of Merchandising Operations and work closely with our Merch Ops team, collaborating with R&amp;D partners as needed. This role will bridge expertise gaps between operational needs and technical implementation, helping our team become more self-sufficient with complex catalog capabilities.</span></p><h3><span style="font-size: 12pt;">What You'll Do</span></h3><ol><li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Training Development for Category Managers (Primary):</span><ul><li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Create and facilitate comprehensive, reusable training on product relationships, attribute capabilities, and quantity features</span></li><li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Develop practical exercises and examples that demonstrate real-world catalog applications</span></li><li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Deliver training to the Merch team with materials designed for future onboarding</span></li><li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Document and prioritize feedback for future feature enhancements</span></li></ul></li><li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Catalog Style Guide Enhancement:</span><ul><li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Upgrade our current catalog documentation into a user-friendly, comprehensive, and structured resource</span></li><li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Incorporate sections on new functionality, and create a template for future additions</span></li><li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Pairing your taxonomy expertise with our business context, provide examples demonstrating best practices for consistent application</span></li></ul></li><li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Taxonomy Guidance:</span><ul><li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Provide hands-on guidance and assist with taxonomy decisions for priority categories currently in rollout</span></li><li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Document classification patterns that can be replicated across categories</span></li><li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Develop a decision framework for attribute and taxonomy decisions</span></li></ul></li><li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">QA Process Documentation:</span><ul><li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Document basic quality assurance processes for catalog data, such as templates and checklists that Merch team members can follow</span></li><li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Establish governance recommendations that balance quality with efficiency</span></li></ul></li></ol><h3><span style="font-size: 12pt;">About You</span></h3><ul><li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">5+ years experience in taxonomy, product information management, or information architecture</span></li><li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Deep understanding of taxonomy principles with proven ability to explain complex systems clearly through documentation and training</span></li><li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Experience creating educational materials and delivering training workshops</span></li><li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Proficiency with Notion required;
