Position Summary
We are currently seeking a Tax Preparer with a strong accounting background and a passion for delivering exceptional client service. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in tax preparation, be detail-oriented, and have the ability to manage multiple projects within deadlines. You will play a vital role in preparing and reviewing tax returns, assisting with client inquiries, and supporting the firm’s growth within the HOA sector.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and review federal and state income tax returns for Homeowners Associations.
Communicate with clients to gather financial data and clarify tax-related questions.
Maintain accurate records and documentation in accordance with firm policies and industry standards.
Contribute to the firm’s culture of continuous improvement and client-focused service.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting (preferred).
Minimum of 2 years of professional tax preparation experience, preferably within a CPA firm environment preferred.
Excellent attention to detail, analytical thinking, and organizational skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a client-service mindset.
Experience with tax preparation software.
Work Environment
This is a full-time, on-site position located in our San Francisco office. The successful candidate will work Monday through Friday alongside a team of experienced accounting and tax professionals dedicated to excellence and client satisfaction.
Compensation and Benefits
Competitive starting salary: $68,000 – $70,000, based on experience and qualifications. Salary could go higher.
