We believe that when you’re set up for success, we all win. That’s why our expectations are both clear and reasonable: full-time managers have a target of 1,375 charge hours (2,300 total hours annually), giving you the structure you need without the burnout.

During peak season, you can expect to log around 50 charge hours per week, with some weeks trending higher as deadlines approach—but you won’t be doing it alone. We collaborate, support each other, and always finish strong together.

What makes you a fit for this role?

• Must be EA or CPA licensed (active)
• 5+ years of recent experience in public accounting (2 in a manager capacity) that includes significant experience preparing and reviewing expatriate and foreign national tax returns (forms 5471, 3520, 1040, 1040 NR, 8938), working in a paperless environment, researching complex tax issues, managing client engagements, supervising project teams, and collection of accounts receivable

• Proficient in tax equalization, payroll calculations, and conducting tax briefings for inbound and outbound clients

• Excellent communication skills
• Proven ability to give and receive positive and constructive feedback
• Organized, detail-oriented, and good problem-solving skills
• Ability to adopt new/changing technology; adept at using MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams) and tax software (preferably CCH Axcess & Engagement)
• Collaborative approach to getting work done, shares knowledge, and seeks knowledge of others as appropriate

Compensation and benefits:

• Salary range is $121K - $138K annually, varying DOE. Compensation may be adjusted for those who live in areas with a higher cost of labor than Portland, OR
• 401(k) profit sharing plan; immediate vesting of employer contributions
