This is a senior commercial leadership role owning one of the most strategic retail partnerships within a fast-growing consumer brand. The position carries full end-to-end responsibility for shaping, executing, and delivering a multi-year joint business plan with a key national retailer. You will operate at executive level, building trusted relationships with senior buying and merchandising teams while driving sustained omni-channel growth across in-store and digital environments. Acting as both strategist and operator, you will translate commercial ambition into disciplined execution across sales, marketing, supply chain, and finance. The role requires strong analytical thinking, commercial acumen, and the ability to influence complex stakeholder environments. It is highly visible, performance-driven, and central to the company’s continued expansion in the US market.


Accountabilities:

In this role, you will lead the end-to-end management of a major retail account, ensuring delivery of long-term growth, profitability, and strategic alignment. You will own the joint business plan and act as the primary senior interface with retail buying leadership, shaping commercial strategy and execution across multiple channels.

  • Lead the development and execution of a multi-year joint business plan focused on revenue growth, market share expansion, and profitability
  • Serve as the senior strategic partner to retail buying, merchandising, and category leadership teams
  • Drive omni-channel performance across in-store execution, e-commerce, merchandising, and promotional strategies
  • Optimize assortment, shelf placement, pricing, and inventory through data-driven insights and category expertise
  • Oversee POS performance, promotional effectiveness, and consumer engagement initiatives
  • Align cross-functional internal teams including Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, and Finance to ensure execution excellence
  • Define KPIs, performance tracking systems, and continuous improvement frameworks for the account
  • Provide strategic market insights, competitive analysis, and category recommendations to senior leadership
  • Lead and develop internal teams supporting the account, ensuring high performance and accountability

Requirements:

This role requires a seasoned commercial leader with deep experience managing major retail accounts in the consumer packaged goods industry, particularly within large-scale national retailers. You bring strong executive presence, commercial ownership, and the ability to influence both internal and external stakeholders at senior levels.

  • 10+ years of progressive account leadership experience in CPG or related consumer industries
  • Proven track record managing Target or comparable major retail accounts at a senior level
  • Strong experience in P&L ownership, commercial strategy, and revenue growth delivery
  • Demonstrated success in driving omni-channel sales performance, POS growth, and retail execution
  • Deep understanding of retail merchandising, category management, and shopper insights
  • Strong cross-functional leadership skills across sales, marketing, supply chain, and finance
  • Excellent stakeholder management and ability to build trusted relationships with senior retail executives
  • Strong analytical capability with the ability to translate data into actionable commercial strategies
  • Proven experience leading and developing high-performing commercial teams
  • Strategic mindset combined with strong execution discipline and entrepreneurial drive
