As the Talent Acquisition Manager for the Defense and Technology Solutions (DTS) business unit, you will play a key role in leading a dynamic team to attract and recruit top talent to KBR, ensuring we have the right people, with the right skills, at the right time. In collaboration with the Talent Acquisition Director, you will develop and implement effective recruitment strategies and drive process efficiency to promote an optimum talent experience.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Lead, motivate, and coach a team of ten (10) including Sourcing Recruiters, TA Operations Specialist, and Recruiting Coordinators.
Collaborate with the TA Director and leaders across DTS to develop and deliver initiatives that will influence the performance of the Talent Acquisition team.
Serve as a thought leader for talent acquisition programs and technology utilization; provide advice and support to team members and business leaders.
Remain nimble to adjust sourcing team focus based on business needs.
Provide leadership and oversight for the summer intern, transitioning military recruitment and internal mobility programs, job fair schedule and logistics, and other recruiting and networking events.
Analyze recruitment metrics to continuously improve our recruitment practices and contribute to the overall success of our talent acquisition initiatives.
Ensure compliance with internal practices and policies and external regulations. This includes audit participation and oversight of pre-employment requirement completion for all new hires.
Lead partnership efforts with the Capture and Proposal teams to assist with business pipeline efforts to identify key talent for bids/proposals.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree and 9+ years of professional experience in Talent Acquisition. In lieu of a Bachelor’s degree, an Associate’s degree and 13+ years of experience or HS diploma and 17+ years of experience will suffice.
Experience managing high-performing talent acquisition teams, including setting KPI’s, providing feedback, and fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.
Experience and in-depth knowledge of recruiting technology including but not limited to applicant tracking systems, Candidate Relationship Management (CRM) software, LinkedIn Recruiter, and Indeed.
Preferred Qualifications:
2+ years of experience managing talent acquisition teams.
Experience recruiting in the government contracting sector, specifically for Department of Defense customers.
Experience with the Phenom CRM.
Basic Compensation:
$128,200.00 - $192,300.00
The offered rate will be based on the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, abilities and/or experience and in consideration of internal parity.
Additional Compensation:
KBR may offer bonuses, commissions, or other forms of compensation to certain job titles or levels, per internal policy or contractual designation. Additional compensation may be in the form of sign on bonus, relocation benefits, short term incentives, long term incentives, or discretionary payments for exceptional performance.
