POSITION SUMMARY:
The Systems Analyst I is responsible for providing production support and new development for internal applications at Ameriflex. This entry-level position involves collaborating with internal customers to address ongoing system needs, create new functionality, and support integration with third-party systems. The role requires working closely with the team to resolve issues and improve processes. 

PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES (Core Competencies):

  • Application Development and Support: Develop scripts and applications using C#, .NET, and/or and perform SQL-related tasks, including writing stored procedures, views, triggers, functions, and complex queries (Beginner).
  • Production Monitoring: Perform daily monitoring of IT-supported applications and processes, addressing any issues that arise (Beginner).
  • User Support and Requirements Gathering: Serve as a point of contact for internal and external customers to gather requirements and propose solutions based on existing infrastructure (Beginner).
  • Problem Resolution and Issue Reporting: Identify and report challenges, working closely with the team to develop resolutions (Beginner).
  • Team Collaboration and Process Improvement: Participate in collaborative efforts to optimize existing processes and support enterprise-wide projects (Beginner).
  • Other Duties: Perform additional tasks as assigned by management (Beginner).

Requirements

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

  • Technical Skills:
    • 2 years of experience developing software applications using MVC Frameworks, .NET, and C#.
    • Understanding of SQL and experience with stored procedures, views, triggers, and functions (Beginner).
  • Familiarity with Tools and Frameworks:
    • Knowledge of KendoUI, Bootstrap, KnockoutJS, Razor, Dapper, and nUnit is preferred (Beginner).
    • Basic understanding of JavaScript, jQuery, AJAX, and JSON (Beginner).
    • Source control as Bitbucket or Git
  • Agile Development Knowledge: Familiarity with Agile development practices and the Scrum framework (Beginner).
  • Team and Communication Skills: Ability to work well in a team environment and communicate effectively (Beginner).

CREDENTIALS & EXPERIENCE:

  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years in software development and support.
  • Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with software development tools, databases, and scripting.

NOTE: This position pays $75,000.00 per year, plus bonus potential.
