This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Systems Analyst (CBP) in United States.

This role supports mission-critical federal programs focused on border security, trade facilitation, and national operational readiness. You will act as a key analytical bridge between engineering teams, program leadership, and stakeholders within a complex government environment. The position combines systems analysis, project coordination, and process optimization across technical and operational initiatives. You will help define requirements, map workflows, and ensure data and systems align with mission needs. The environment is collaborative, fast-paced, and highly structured, with strong emphasis on compliance and documentation. This is an opportunity to contribute directly to large-scale public sector systems that support national security objectives.

Accountabilities

In this role, you will support program and engineering teams by analyzing requirements, improving system processes, and ensuring effective coordination across multiple stakeholders. You will contribute to planning, documentation, and execution of mission-aligned initiatives while maintaining visibility into program performance and risks.

  • Support project and program management activities, including requirements gathering, problem identification, and solution analysis for engineering initiatives
  • Facilitate meetings, workshops, and analytic exchanges to support decision-making and stakeholder alignment
  • Document system workflows, data flows, and process architectures to ensure clarity and traceability across initiatives
  • Assist in developing and maintaining program documentation, including artifacts aligned with federal directives and governance frameworks
  • Track schedules, milestones, action items, risks, and dependencies across multiple workstreams
  • Support development and management of agreements, SLAs, and interagency coordination efforts
  • Analyze tools, capabilities, and systems to identify issues and recommend improvements in operational performance

Requirements

This role requires experience in systems analysis, business analysis, or program support within complex technical or government environments. The ideal candidate is highly organized, analytical, and comfortable working with multiple stakeholders in a structured, compliance-driven setting.

  • 3–10 years of experience in systems analysis, business analysis, operations research, or related fields
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Engineering, Information Systems, Finance, or related discipline preferred
  • Experience supporting project or program management in technical or federal environments
  • Familiarity with decision analysis methods, systems workflows, and data-driven evaluation techniques
  • Knowledge of federal frameworks such as DHS directives, acquisition lifecycles, or systems engineering processes is a plus
  • Experience with CBP-related programs or environments is highly desirable
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders
  • Ability to manage competing priorities, solve problems effectively, and work well in team-oriented environments
  • U.S. citizenship required with eligibility for government security clearance; active CBP background investigation is highly preferred

Benefits

  • Competitive salary range: $90,000 – $130,000 (based on experience and qualifications)
  • Opportunity to support high-impact federal mission programs
  • Exposure to complex systems, engineering frameworks, and national-level initiatives
  • Professional development within a structured government contracting environment
  • Collaborative team culture with strong emphasis on knowledge sharing and innovation
  • Eligibility for roles requiring federal clearance and long-term mission engagement
  • Standard benefits package (details may vary based on contract and eligibility)
