As the Senior Vice President of Product of Benefits, you will set the vision for the future of Benefits, defining the key strategic priorities and leading the development and implementation of cutting-edge products that meet the evolving needs of our clients, ensuring compliance, enhancing user experience, and maximizing operational efficiency. As a key member of the Benefits Sr. Leadership team, you will partner closely with Commercial, Operations, and Technology to shape business strategy, strengthen our competitive edge, introduce innovative
solutions, and optimize monetization, all while maintaining a reliable, compliant core offering. In this role, you will be responsible for creating an integrated product vision and strategy that drives high-value business outcomes by addressing our customers' major pain points through product innovation. This leader will also embrace strong leadership and transformation skills to build a culture of customer driven innovation, rapid experimentation, collaboration, data-driven
decisions, and accountability.
Key aspects of this role include:
● Product Strategy and Vision: Develop and execute a bold vision for the Benefits product offerings, supported by rapid experimentation, external competitive assessment, and strategic partnerships and/ or acquisition to build confidence and traction, including the current small business portfolio, our new acquisition, and new product ideas. Boldly explore AI product opportunities to drive new revenue growth through innovative product launches and strategic monetization initiatives.
● Market and Customer Focus: Understand and incorporate market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape into product strategy. Lead the cross-functional team in deeply understanding the needs of all key partners.
● Experimentation and Launch: Lead the entire product lifecycle from ideation to rapid experimentation, scaling, and successful market launches that drive revenue. Be willing to make the difficult decisions to stop or pivot as needed, and accelerate where warranted.
● Outcomes focus: Lead with a mindset of accountability and a bias for learning and action, creating a culture of rapid experimentation to deliver on business and customer outcomes and measuring results.
● Commercial Mindset: In partnership with key players across WEX, develop and execute strong go-to-market strategies, including pricing, packaging, marketing, and sales enablement, to ensure successful product adoption and profitable revenue growth.
● Team Leadership and Development: Build and lead a team of product managers through clear prioritization, frequent coaching, and transparent feedback, creating a culture of inclusiveness, empowerment, results, and trust.
● Cross-functional Leadership: Collaborate effectively across a matrixed organization, working with teams in marketing, sales, operations, and technology to drive product success.
