This is a high-impact, operator-facing finance role embedded across a portfolio of fast-growing, multi-venture businesses. You will act as a trusted financial thought partner to CEOs and senior operators, helping shape strategic decisions that directly influence growth, capital allocation, and long-term performance. Rather than focusing on traditional reporting, this role blends strategic finance, FP&A, and operator advisory work in a highly dynamic environment. You will navigate complex, multi-entity financial structures while building clarity in ambiguous situations. The role demands strong analytical instincts, business judgment, and the ability to move fluidly across different companies and contexts. It is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced, non-standardized environments and enjoys building systems while solving high-leverage financial problems.
Accountabilities:- Partner directly with CEOs, growth leaders, and executives to advise on unit economics, cash flow, runway, and investment decisions, acting as a key financial sounding board.
- Own and communicate the financial narrative across multiple businesses, translating performance into clear, driver-based insights and actionable recommendations.
- Validate and challenge financial and analytical outputs, ensuring accuracy and coherence across reporting, modeling, and decision-support systems.
- Navigate the full financial surface area including forecasting, valuations, inter-company activity, funding analysis, and operational finance edge cases.
- Collaborate with data and finance teams to define and refine financial models, ensuring outputs are correct, useful, and aligned with business reality.
- Identify gaps in financial systems and proactively build or improve processes, tools, and frameworks to reduce manual or fragmented work over time.
Requirements:
- 6–10 years of experience in FP&A, strategic finance, startup finance, consulting, or multi-entity/portfolio environments.
- Proven experience advising founders, executives, or operators on financial and strategic decisions.
- Strong command of driver-based financial modeling and ability to translate complex data into business insights.
- Experience working across multiple companies, business units, or portfolio structures with strong context-switching ability.
- Solid understanding of accounting principles and ability to review and validate financial results independently.
- Experience building or improving financial reporting systems, tools, or infrastructure from the ground up.
- High intellectual curiosity, strong problem-solving skills, and comfort operating in ambiguous, fast-changing environments.
