We are seeking a dynamic Strategic Account Executive to manage and grow key client relationships in the prescription benefits and healthcare services space. In this role, you will serve as the primary liaison between clients, brokers, and internal teams, ensuring seamless service delivery and exceptional client experiences. You will analyze client needs, provide strategic guidance, and lead initiatives that enhance plan performance and drive client satisfaction. This role requires strong relationship-building skills, analytical expertise, and a proactive approach to identifying opportunities for improvement and cost savings. The ideal candidate thrives in a consultative environment, collaborates effectively across teams, and is committed to delivering measurable results that support both client and organizational goals.


Accountabilities:
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with brokers, consulting partners, and client organizations to ensure retention and satisfaction.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, coordinating internal and external stakeholders to deliver solutions that meet client objectives.
  • Guide clients through plan design strategies, adoption, and optimization, including education on trends, new products, and cost-containment strategies.
  • Analyze client data, develop reports, and present insights to support business decisions and enhance service delivery.
  • Facilitate client meetings, presentations, and renewals, ensuring clarity, preparation, and follow-up on action items.
  • Identify at-risk accounts, develop action plans in collaboration with internal teams, and escalate issues as needed.
  • Support implementation of new clients, products, and business initiatives to ensure smooth transitions and client satisfaction.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred; 5+ years of experience in a similar role, preferably within PBM, pharmacy consulting, or related healthcare industries.
  • Strong knowledge of employee benefits, pharmacy plan design, and industry contracts/policies.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Salesforce.
  • Excellent presentation, communication, and relationship management skills.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities, with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Experience working with self-insured employer groups and TPAs is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment while coordinating with internal teams.
