This is a high-impact strategic sales role focused on managing and expanding relationships with some of the most influential institutions in collegiate sports and entertainment. The position sits at the intersection of enterprise sales, executive advisory, and long-term partnership development, requiring a leader who can navigate complex stakeholder environments with confidence and precision. You will act as a trusted partner to senior university and athletic leadership, helping them modernize and transform their ticketing and fan engagement ecosystems. The role demands strong commercial acumen, political sensitivity, and the ability to operate in multi-layered decision-making structures. You will shape go-to-market strategy for top-tier accounts while contributing directly to product and platform evolution. Accountabilities:- Own and drive the end-to-end strategy for securing, growing, and retaining partnerships within elite collegiate athletic conferences, acting as the primary strategic lead for key enterprise accounts.
- Build and maintain trusted advisory relationships with senior stakeholders such as Athletic Directors, CFOs, and university executives, operating with strong executive presence and credibility.
- Lead complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles and high-value negotiations across academic, technical, and operational decision-makers.
- Define and execute strategic account plans in collaboration with go-to-market and executive leadership, influencing product direction based on market and customer needs.
- Manage long-term, high-value deal cycles requiring persistence, structured relationship management, and cross-functional coordination.
- Maintain deep understanding of the collegiate sports and entertainment ecosystem, engaging directly with clients and industry stakeholders through travel and in-person interactions.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Sports Management, or a related field from a top-tier institution.
- 7+ years of experience in strategic sales, enterprise consulting, or advisory roles within high-growth or complex B2B environments.
- Proven success managing large, multi-stakeholder deals with senior-level executives in enterprise or institutional settings.
- Strong executive presence with exceptional communication skills, capable of influencing C-level and institutional leadership.
- Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new industries, translating complex domain knowledge into actionable commercial strategy.
- Experience working in ambiguous, fast-moving environments with a “builder” mindset and ownership mentality.
- Strong analytical thinking, negotiation skills, and ability to structure and close complex commercial agreements.
