About this Position:

We’re looking for a Strategic Account Advisor with deep knowledge of the Walmart supplier community and experience advising CPG companies. As part of Cantactix (now a Crisp company), you’ll act as a trusted partner—helping clients translate insights into action, strengthen their category strategies, and maximize the value of Crisp’s growing portfolio of solutions.

This position is especially well-suited for someone with a category advisor background who knows how to build relationships, uncover opportunities, and guide clients through data-driven decisions. While software experience is helpful, the emphasis is on transferable skills in category management, retail planning, and supplier collaboration that can deliver impact from day one.

This role is directly accountable for maximizing the success of CPG clients and ensuring they are fully leveraging our solutions to grow their business. Based in Northwest Arkansas, you’ll collaborate with clients to ensure they have clear plans in place, broaden relationships across their organizations, and introduce new solutions that create measurable value. You’ll also lead solution-based proposals, present recommendations, and foster strong client partnerships while delivering on business targets set by the VP, CPG Account Management, and the GM & SVP – Cantactix.

This role will embrace our Cantactix Core Values as guiding principles—solving client problems, helping the team continually improve our customer-centric approach, and strengthening Crisp’s reputation as a trusted partner in the Walmart supplier community.

The Roles and Responsibilities are molded by our Core Values:

  • Can-do, problem-solving attitude
    • Leverage our team to solve customer problems with innovative solutions
    • Advocate for customers and the solutions to their challenges
    • Engage as a thought-leader in the Walmart supplier community
    • Utilize Cantactix tools to manage customer communications and forecast work
  • Doing what is right
    • Increase value for our customers while growing revenue
    • Lead our team by example
    • Listen to customer issues attentively and with empathy
    • Negotiate win-win contracts and pricing
  • Sharing Knowledge
    • Share your expertise and mentor teammates
    • Share industry knowledge and best practices with our customers
    • Evangelize Cantactix capabilities to the broader market
  • Building trusting relationships
    • Identify, pursue, and develop relationships within our accounts and the broader supplier community
    • Offer professional, effective, and efficient solutions to customer challenges
    • Strengthen relationships with internal and external partners
    • Collaborate with the broader Cantactix team
  • Balancing work and life
    • Meet and/or exceed account goals by building strong partnerships and achieving revenue targets
    • Manage your career development while embedding rest and leisure
    • Support peers when and how they need help

Skills and Experience:

  • 5+ years in category advisory, account management, or consulting, ideally supporting Walmart suppliers or CPG clients
  • Deep understanding of the Walmart advisor ecosystem and supplier community
  • Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and presentation skills
  • Familiarity with Blue Yonder Category Management applications; i.e. Space Planning/ProSpace
  • A deep understanding of the modular (planograms) relay process for Walmart
  • Knowledge of the B2B budgeting process in retail and CPG verticals
  • Ability to craft customer value propositions and outreach strategies
  • Passion for customers and a commitment to helping them achieve the right outcomes
  • Ability to build rapport and establish credibility with customers and internal teams
  • Experience with CRM and related client management tools
  • Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills
  • Ability to travel (estimate of once per month)

What Makes a Great Fit at Crisp:

  • Team-first: You know collaboration leads to better outcomes. You share ideas, pitch in, and elevate those around you.
  • Customer-obsessed: You listen, learn, and prioritize what truly matters to our customers—every day.
  • Hungry, accountable, and adaptable: You’re curious, self-driven, and unafraid to roll up your sleeves. You get things done—even when the path isn’t clear—and you deliver reliably, communicate early, and adapt quickly when things change.
  • Feedback-friendly: You welcome feedback as a tool for growth—both giving and receiving it with honesty and care.
  • Scrappy & smart: You solve problems with creativity and speed. You look for ways to streamline, automate, or improve without being asked.

We are committed to transparency, diversity, and meritocracy, fostering an environment where every team member is empowered to make an impact, grow personally, and advance in their career. We invite you to join us — not just to take on a role, but to help shape a company you’re proud to be part of.
