This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Staff Systems Design Engineer in the United States.
This role sits at the intersection of design systems, front-end engineering, and AI-driven tooling, shaping a scalable, production-grade UI foundation used across web and mobile products. You will lead the evolution of a multi-platform design system that unifies design and code, ensuring consistency, speed, and craft across all user experiences. Working closely with Design, Engineering, and Creative teams, you will define system architecture, component APIs, and governance standards that enable product-wide adoption. The role is highly strategic and deeply technical, requiring strong systems thinking and hands-on execution. You will also influence how AI tools integrate into design-to-code workflows, improving developer experience and reducing friction between design intent and production reality. This is a high-impact position where your decisions will directly shape product scalability, usability, and long-term engineering efficiency.
