As a Staff Software Engineer for our Customer Service technology stack, you will focus on building solutions that will transform ezCater’s customer experience. This will include building a first-class, modern Customer Service tech stack that pairs ezCater’s existing software solutions with AI-enabled tooling. You will focus on designing the architecture of this new tech stack that will integrate with Salesforce Service Cloud, in partnership with Principal Engineers, Product, Customer Service and Operations stakeholders. You’ll report to the Senior Engineering Manager within the ezCater Product Engineering organization.</span></p><p style="line-height: 1.5;"><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);">In addition to this, you’ll be a key driving force behind growing our engineering organization through mentorship and coaching of other technical leaders, establishing and rolling out technical and architectural standards, and contributing to an inclusive and transparent culture.</span></p><h4 style="line-height: 1.5;"><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);">What You’ll Do:</span></h4><ul><li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);"><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);">Take a lead role in developing the technical architecture and roadmap driving the transformation of our customer service tech stack, in collaboration with stakeholders across the organization.</span></li><li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);"><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);">Build architectural standards and best practices for ezCater’s software platform.</span></li><li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);"><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);">Set the technical strategy and vision for the Customer Service roadmap, focused on enabling integration with Salesforce Service Cloud. </span></li><li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);"><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);">Strike a balance of quality and speed while working on company-level priorities.</span></li><li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);"><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);">Be a visionary leader providing guidance and mentorship to your teammates across the organization.</span></li><li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);"><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);">Raise the bar for software quality, architecture, and expectations of what is achievable within the engineering organization.</span></li></ul><h4 style="line-height: 1.5;"><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);">What you have:</span></h4><ul><li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);"><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);">7+ years of professional development experience, with a focus on backend technologies and building services using Go, Ruby on Rails, Java or similar languages.&nbsp;</span></li><li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);"><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);">Proven expertise building APIs using GraphQL and REST.</span></li><li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);"><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);">Demonstrated success integrating with common customer service software and tools, including but not limited to Salesforce Service Cloud, Zendesk, HubSpot, and others.
