This role sits at the core of a high-impact browser product used by hundreds of millions of people worldwide, where search is both a primary user action and a key revenue driver. You will define and lead the strategy for search experiences across desktop environments, shaping how users interact with search within the browser ecosystem. The position blends product innovation, monetization strategy, and privacy-first design principles in a highly visible and mission-driven environment. You will work across engineering, data science, and business development teams to build and optimize search journeys that balance user value with sustainable revenue growth. This is a strategic leadership role with strong ownership of experimentation, metrics, and long-term product direction. You will operate in a fast-paced, cross-functional setting with significant autonomy and influence over critical business outcomes.


Accountabilities:

Own and define the end-to-end product strategy for search and monetization across desktop browser platforms, ensuring alignment with user experience, privacy principles, and revenue goals.

  • Lead experimentation programs across search entry points, default experiences, and monetization surfaces to optimize engagement and business impact.
  • Establish success metrics in collaboration with Data Science and translate insights into product decisions and roadmap priorities.
  • Partner closely with Business Development to execute search partnerships and ensure alignment with contractual and strategic commitments.
  • Navigate complex trade-offs between user experience, technical constraints, privacy requirements, and revenue performance.
  • Contribute to quarterly and annual planning, identifying risks, growth opportunities, and long-term strategic initiatives.

Requirements:

5+ years of product management experience with ownership of revenue-generating or highly monetized product areas.

  • Proven track record of leading experimentation frameworks and delivering measurable business outcomes.
  • Strong analytical skills with fluency in product analytics tools and SQL.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams and influencing stakeholders without direct authority.
  • Ability to balance user needs, privacy considerations, and business objectives in product decision-making.
  • Excellent communication skills with experience engaging senior leadership and external partners.
