This role sits at the core of a large-scale developer platform transformation, focused on redefining how software is built, tested, and shipped across a globally distributed engineering organization.
You will define and drive the product vision for a developer experience platform used by thousands of engineers and increasingly by AI agents embedded in modern workflows.
The mission is to accelerate developer velocity while ensuring reliability, security, and consistency across the entire software delivery lifecycle.
You will operate at the intersection of product, engineering, and platform strategy, shaping how internal tools evolve in an AI-first development environment.
This is a highly cross-functional and strategic role, requiring strong technical depth and the ability to influence senior stakeholders across organizations.
You will help establish opinionated, scalable development paths that make the “right way” the easiest way to build and ship software.
Accountabilities:- Define the product vision and long-term strategy for the internal developer experience platform, with a focus on accelerating software delivery at scale.
- Own and drive the roadmap for developer productivity, experimentation, and platform improvements balancing immediate pain points with long-term transformation.
- Identify and lead opportunities to replace manual workflows with API-driven, automated, and AI-agent-compatible systems.
- Shape the integration of AI-assisted workflows and agent-based systems into core development platforms used by both humans and machines.
- Partner closely with engineering and leadership teams to define success metrics and ensure delivery against measurable outcomes.
- Translate deep understanding of internal engineering workflows into clear, prioritized product direction.
- Promote adoption of standardized development paths that improve speed, quality, and consistency across teams.
- Collaborate across multiple organizations to deliver initiatives that span technical and operational boundaries.
- Use qualitative and quantitative insights to advocate for developer needs and influence investment decisions.
Requirements:
- 8+ years of experience in product management, program management, software development, product design, or related technical roles
OR 6+ years with a Bachelor’s degree in a related field
OR equivalent professional experience. - 3+ years working on complex technical initiatives spanning multiple teams or organizational boundaries.
- Strong technical foundation in modern software engineering practices such as CI/CD, testing strategies, observability, and distributed systems.
- Experience working with internal developer platforms, platform engineering, or developer productivity initiatives is highly valued.
- Ability to engage with senior engineers on architecture decisions and translate technical complexity into product strategy.
- Demonstrated ability to improve developer productivity or engineering efficiency through measurable impact.
- Experience with AI-powered tools, LLM integrations, or agent-based workflows is a strong plus.
- Strong analytical mindset with experience defining and using metrics to guide product decisions.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively in a highly distributed, asynchronous environment.
