This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Staff Data Integrations Engineer - Connex Integration based in the United States.

As a Staff Data Integrations Engineer, you will play a critical role in designing and evolving large-scale data integration solutions that power business-critical operations. This position offers the opportunity to work on highly scalable, configuration-driven platforms while collaborating with talented engineers, product leaders, and stakeholders across the organization. You will contribute to architecture decisions, optimize system performance, and drive automation initiatives that improve reliability and efficiency. Accountabilities:
  • Design, develop, and enhance scalable data integration solutions capable of supporting complex and rapidly evolving business requirements.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, including architecture decision records (ADRs), RFCs, and other artifacts that support informed decision-making and long-term maintainability.
  • Lead initiatives focused on system performance optimization, scalability improvements, and operational cost management.
  • Build and maintain automated monitoring, alerting, and remediation processes to ensure high system reliability and rapid issue resolution.
  • Provide advanced technical troubleshooting and support for complex integration challenges and production issues.
  • Collaborate closely with engineering, product management, and leadership teams to deliver iterative improvements and scalable platform capabilities.
  • Drive adoption of engineering best practices, including test-driven development (TDD), continuous integration, automation, and DevOps methodologies.
  • Contribute to the design and implementation of secure, scalable APIs and metadata-driven integration frameworks.
  • Support agile development processes by defining work scopes, prioritizing initiatives, and continuously improving delivery effectiveness.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience developing complex data integration platforms and enterprise-scale data solutions.
  • At least 2 years of hands-on experience working with Snowflake in production environments.
  • Strong expertise in designing and optimizing database systems, API architectures, and auto-scaling cloud environments.
  • Experience building highly automated deployment, testing, and operational processes that improve system stability and reduce manual intervention.
  • Proven ability to develop configuration-driven software solutions and manage metadata effectively.
  • Experience designing, implementing, and securing public-facing APIs with a focus on scalability and performance.
  • Proficiency with modern cloud and data technologies such as Snowflake, SQL, Python, AWS Lambda, and AWS API Gateway is highly desirable.
  • Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving capabilities, and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across technical and non-technical teams.
  • Experience mentoring engineers, contributing to technical leadership, and fostering knowledge sharing within teams.
  • Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and enterprise software development principles.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a strong focus on quality and business impact.
