About the role

Our Tax Division is responsible for: tax planning, preparation, and filing of both individual and company tax returns for our Clients. 


As a Staff Accountant at Club Capital you will ensure timely and accurate preparation of our clients taxes, support the team of tax accountants, and help with tax resolution as needed.  This position requires solid technical knowledge of both personal and business tax returns, and the ability to work with a minimum of assistance. Our Tax Division is responsible for: tax planning, preparation, and filing of both individual and company tax returns for Club Capital Clients. This is a full time role as strategic tax planning has no season.  

Responsibilities:

  • Ability to engage with clients to gather and prepare tax filings.  
  • Coordinate with our outsourced team preparation team 
  • Prepare our clients for tax season and take actions on areas where they can optimize their tax returns

  • You are a problem solver, analytical thinker, and collaborative.  
  • Mentorship & Training: You should have the ability and interest in building up the team around you. 
  • Ability to manage a high volume of clients returns with poise. 

Qualifications

  • 1 - 2  years experience in individual and business tax preparation
  • Knowledge of tax software and MS Office
  • Good at meeting deadlines and solving problems
  • Exceptional client service along with the ability to develop excellent client relationships
  • Analytical skills with detail orientation
  • BS in Accounting
