This position will be an integral part of the general ledger close and will report to the Sr. Manager, Accounting. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with a solid understanding of U.S. GAAP, strong financial analysis skills and an ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment that seeks to improve existing processes as we scale our business while collaborating with Legal, People, FP&amp;A, and Technology to serve as a trusted liaison in cross functional capacities.&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Play an integral role in the general ledger month end closing process, including preparing journal entries, account reconciliations and supporting account analysis with an emphasis on adhering to deadlines</li><li>Perform monthly general ledger reconciliation schedules by reviewing the general ledger activity and obtaining a full understanding of the account activity to support month-end reported balances</li><li>Prepare journal entries and assist in month-end close processes in various accounting areas including, but not limited to accruals, prepaid expenses, and cost allocations</li><li>Manage monthly marketing spend accruals and liaise with marketing agencies and internal stakeholders to ensure completeness and accuracy</li><li>Prepare monthly bank reconciliations for multiple accounts, including foreign currency denominated accounts</li><li>Process vendor payments, employee reimbursements, and corporate card expenses</li><li>Understand the full accounts payable cycle including invoice and payment processing</li><li>Stay current on changes to U.S. GAAP such as accounting standards updates and have an in-depth understanding of current standards&nbsp;</li><li>Assist in documentation and monitoring of internal controls</li><li>Support internal and external audit requests</li><li>Ad hoc projects, reporting, and analysis as needed</li></ul><p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li>Ability to adapt and re-prioritize in a fast paced environment</li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills&nbsp;</li><li>Expresses information and ideas clearly</li><li>Problem solves without explicit direction</li><li>Able to receive and incorporate feedback</li><li>Follows best practice methodology</li><li>Understands their area of responsibility</li></ul><p><strong>Minimum Qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in accounting, or related field</li><li>Minimum 2+ years of relevant work experience</li><li>Big 4 public accounting experience preferred</li><li>Experience with platforms such as NetSuite and Ramp preferred</li></ul><p><strong>As part of our team you’ll enjoy:</strong></p><ul><li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Competitive salary</span></li><li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Exceptional benefits package</span></li><li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Flexible Vacation &amp; Paid Time Off</span></li><li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Employer-matched 401(k) plan</span></li></ul><p>The US base pay for this full-time position is&nbsp;<strong>$67,500-$85,000</strong>.
