Accountabilities:- Develop and execute sales strategies for specialty and white oil products to achieve business growth and revenue objectives.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, distributors, and key decision-makers across assigned territories.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders including marketing, R&D, and operations to align product offerings with customer requirements.
- Identify new business opportunities, specialized products, and target markets to expand the portfolio.
- Prepare account plans, forecasts, proposals, and pricing strategies to support sales initiatives.
- Represent the company at industry events, trade associations, and client meetings to promote products and solutions.
- Manage complex sales processes including RFIs, RFQs, contract negotiations, and crisis management for supply or quality issues.
Requirements:
- 5–10 years of direct sales or commercial experience, with advanced capability considered for 10+ years.
- Technical knowledge of specialty chemicals, white oils, and related applications (e.g., rubber, polymer, asphalt).
- Strong understanding of customers, competitors, markets, and global supply/demand dynamics.
- Proven ability to perform high-level sales and business development assignments independently.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills at all organizational levels.
- Analytical and organizational proficiency with advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office; Salesforce, Power BI, or SAP experience is an asset.
- Strong crisis management skills and the ability to handle complex situations involving production, logistics, or quality issues.
- Post-secondary education required; Bachelor’s degree in Business, Science, or Engineering preferred; MBA considered an asset.
- Willingness to travel frequently (road and air) within North America, approximately 50% of the time.
