This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Sr. QA & Testing Automation in United States.

This role is a high-impact leadership opportunity focused on shaping and delivering end-to-end quality assurance strategy within a large-scale insurance transformation program. The Senior QA Test Lead will be responsible for defining the testing vision while also actively building and executing automation frameworks that ensure robust, scalable, and reliable delivery outcomes. Operating in a lean, fast-moving environment, this role combines strategic oversight with hands-on technical execution across all phases of testing. The position requires close collaboration with business and technology stakeholders to ensure alignment on quality standards and delivery objectives. It is ideal for a seasoned QA professional who thrives in transformation settings and enjoys building testing capabilities from the ground up. The role also offers the opportunity to influence QA best practices across complex modernization initiatives while remaining deeply involved in day-to-day execution.

Accountabilities:
  • Lead the QA and testing function for large-scale insurance transformation programs, defining overall testing strategy, governance, and execution approach across multiple delivery phases.
  • Design, build, and maintain scalable test automation frameworks using tools such as Selenium and other modern testing platforms, ensuring reliability and efficiency across releases.
  • Oversee all testing activities including test planning, design, environment setup, execution, defect management, reporting, and continuous quality improvement.
  • Operate in a hands-on capacity within a lean team, contributing directly to testing delivery while mentoring junior team members and guiding QA best practices.
  • Balance manual and automated testing approaches effectively to ensure full coverage of business-critical functionality and transformation objectives.
  • Collaborate closely with stakeholders to align QA efforts with business needs, ensuring high-quality outcomes in a complex transformation environment.

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of experience in QA, testing leadership, and quality engineering within large-scale transformation, migration, or modernization programs.
  • Proven hands-on experience defining test strategies, building frameworks, and executing end-to-end QA activities across complex environments.
  • Strong expertise in test automation tools such as Selenium, with additional experience in platforms like Playwright, Cypress, Tosca, UFT, or TestComplete highly valued.
  • Deep understanding of both manual and automated testing methodologies, including when manual testing is critical to delivery success.
  • Experience working in lean, cross-functional teams where professionals manage multiple responsibilities to drive delivery outcomes.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with the ability to influence technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Preferred: experience in Group Insurance, Worksite Insurance, Life Insurance, or FAST platform environments.

Benefits:

  • Competitive compensation aligned with senior QA leadership roles in transformation programs.
  • Remote-first work environment with preference for U.S. East Coast candidates.
  • Quarterly travel to Waco, Texas for collaboration and alignment sessions.
  • Opportunity to lead and build QA frameworks from the ground up in a high-impact transformation initiative.
  • Exposure to large-scale insurance modernization programs and advanced automation technologies.
  • Collaborative, hands-on environment with high ownership and decision-making autonomy.
  • Opportunity to shape QA best practices and influence enterprise-level quality standards.
  • Engagement in a dynamic, fast-paced environment focused on continuous improvement and innovation.
