About the Role:

Hims & Hers is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Program Manager, Launch Optimization to support the development and optimization of our Compounding Operations PMO and oversee the process and procedures we use for our product launch initiatives. This role sits on the Compounding Operations PMO and reports into our Principal Program Manager. In this role, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to build and refine scalable processes, drive end-to-end project execution, and ensure operational excellence in new product development and market readiness.

The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with a passion for process improvement, project management methodologies, and cross-functional collaboration. This person will be responsible for developing frameworks, managing launch readiness, and optimizing workflows to support a fast-growing and high-functioning organization.

This role will be responsible for managing teams remotely as well as on-site. This is a remote role with regular travel (up to 25% of the time) to our compounding pharmacies located in Gilbert, Arizona, and Columbus, Ohio. 

You Will:

  • Process Optimization

    • Conduct a detailed review of existing processes, identifying gaps and opportunities for efficiency improvements across operations and innovation.

    • Support the development of PMO tools, processes, and documentation to support scalable program management within Compounding Operations and Launch Readiness.

    • Develop and implement a resource allocation and management tool to streamline cross-functional workload distribution.

    • Partner with senior leadership to guide the short-, medium-, and long-term development of scalable program management frameworks.

    • Oversee process adoption and optimization, providing training and ongoing support to ensure seamless integration.

  • Program Management

    • Manage end-to-end product development and launch initiatives, spanning R&D, packaging, equipment readiness, fulfillment, growth and marketing, ops readiness, quality, and compliance.

    • Act as a strategic partner across teams to drive clarity in project objectives, timelines, and deliverables.

    • Schedule and lead cross-functional meetings, ensuring clear documentation, action items, and timely follow-ups.

    • Support risk assessment, proactively mitigating roadblocks and escalating critical issues as needed.

    • Ensure adherence to established project management methodologies, while continuously refining workflows for efficiency.

You Have:

  • 8+ years of project or program management experience

  • 5+ years of experience building processes for medium and large companies

  • Experience leading and managing teams

  • Certifications in PMP, Scrum master, and/or Agile

  • Experiences in PMO, project management, PMP, Scrum master, creating and grooming backlog, sprint reporting or related fields in medium and large companies

  • Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent preferably in Business Administration, Healthcare administration/management, or related field. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication

  • Strong visual presentation skills

  • Ability to travel up to 25% of the time to facilities in California, Arizona, and Ohio

Conditions of Employment: 

  • This position will require working with Hazardous Drugs (HD) and would require that Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) be worn for the length of working with these drugs. These items would include gloves, respiratory protection, gown and other items as required.

  • This position requires medical approval to wear respiratory protection in the form of negative or positive pressure respirators, including N95, full face respirator, SCBA, or Powered Air Purifying Respirator (PAPR).

  • Physical exertion required. Including, but not limited to, walking up to 50% of the time, standing up to 100% of the time, squatting and bending up to 20% of the time and lifting up to 80% of the time for up to a twelve hour shift. Must be able to lift up to 50lbs.

  • Due to the risk of reproductive capability in handling or compounding certain Hazardous Drugs (HD) associates must be willing to confirm that they understand the potential risks (teratogenicity, carcinogenicity and reproductive effects) of handling hazardous drugs.
