This role sits at the heart of a major digital transformation initiative, shaping how millions of members interact with financial services through modern, mobile-first experiences. You will define and drive the digital product strategy, ensuring that platforms are intuitive, scalable, and aligned with both user needs and business objectives. The position requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams including engineering, marketing, cybersecurity, fraud, and payments to deliver seamless and secure digital banking experiences. You will also play a key role in evaluating vendors and selecting technologies that will define the future of digital banking capabilities. This is a highly strategic and visible role where data, member insights, and innovation guide decision-making. Accountabilities:- Define and own the digital product vision and roadmap, with a strong focus on mobile-first banking experiences
- Lead vendor evaluation processes, including RFPs, solution assessments, and selection of digital banking platforms
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as Marketing, Fraud Operations, Payments, and Cybersecurity to align product priorities
- Translate member needs, data insights, and market trends into actionable product improvements and innovation opportunities
- Establish and track key performance indicators to measure product success and business impact
- Drive end-to-end product lifecycle management, ensuring continuous improvement and optimization of digital capabilities
- Partner with leadership to communicate product strategy, progress, and outcomes to senior stakeholders
- Identify opportunities to improve user experience, adoption, and engagement across digital channels
- Capture and apply lessons learned to refine product strategy and execution
- Ensure all digital solutions meet security, compliance, and scalability requirements
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Technology, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent experience
- 7+ years of experience in product management, digital product development, or related roles
- Strong experience with digital platforms, mobile applications, and digital banking environments
- Proven ability to manage vendor relationships and lead complex procurement or RFP processes
- Strong strategic thinking skills with the ability to translate business needs into product solutions
- Excellent communication skills with experience presenting to senior leadership and diverse stakeholders
- Experience working in cross-functional, agile environments
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to use data and customer insights to drive decisions
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies is preferred
- Experience in financial services or regulated environments is highly valued
- Ability to balance long-term strategy with hands-on execution in a fast-paced environment
- AI/ML familiarity and product owner certification are a plus
